I was very pleased with my recent experience at sunset automotive #3. I was broke down on the side of the road and I was very impressed with how quickly the tow truck responded. I was more impressed with the unbelievable customer service. Chris Caldron was so welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. He was very thorough in his explanation of what was wrong with the vehicle. He also did a great job of explaining it to me so I could understand. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The ONLY guys who work on my German autos. Tony Jr. is a class act who will give you the straight-up and a ride to the office if you work nearby. Sure they're a bit more expensive than the Midas shop around the corner, but you certainly get what you pay for...peace of mind!

I had brought my vehicle into meineke on september 24,2012 and it was a amazing experience. I have had the oddest symptom of when i hit my brakes the right rear reverse light would light up and when i would use the right turn signal it would flash the brake light. I had brought my vehicle to 4 "top notch"diagnosticians" in Mchenry county for my s-10. At a very fair charge of 35 dollars their ASE certified technician Dustin looked over the entire care first to make sure it was safe and maintained,which I appreciated very much. Because of this inspection he had caught that my front brakes where with in miles of grinding and I had no wear indicator on the pads and he saved my rotor and money. Not only this but he did it at a fair price and more importantly correctly. he also found that i had a exhaust hole before my catalytic and 02 sensor which gave me no code but had explained why my vehicle was running odd with no check engine light which he repaired easily. What I was most impressed with is that out of 4 other shops trying to find this electrical problem Dustin looked at my brake light and found and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. All it was is a ground wire to the frame that was corroded and he tells me it was using any ground available which after a new crimp and a clean mount my turn signal,back up lights and brakes all worked just like new. Not only this but they were as bright as they were suppose to be. I found out that The technicians Dave and Dustin are new to the company and also Meineke is also under new ownership and management. I will send all my friends and family her for life. They also showed me my maintenance intervals from a program call AL data,I think it was called, and he really took the time to give me the best of his ability of informed consent of why and when these should be done. I have a 2001 DAKOTA THAT WAS LOSING POWER TO THE POINT IT WOULD ONLY GO 5 MPH AT THE BEST. i HAD IT TOWED TO A SHOP WHERE THEY SAID IT WAS FUEL PUMP AFTER I DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM AND SYMPTOMS THAT OCCURRED GETTING TO THE 5MPG. RANDY SAID THAT HE DOUBTED IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP AND IF I COULD GET IT THERE HE WOULD LOOK AT IT THAT IT WAS MOST LIKELY THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER HAD CLOGGED UP. i HAD IT TOWED THE 150 MILES TO HIS NEW LOCATION AND HE LOOKED AT IT THE NEXT DAY. hE HAD TO REPLACE A CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND AN O2 SENSOR. IT RAN ME LIKE 150 DOLLARS I HAD CALLED AROUND TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD CHARGE. THE OTHER SHOPS WERE WAY OVER 200IN FACT ONE WANTED 400 AND IT WAS GOING TO TAKE THEM A WEEK TO GET TO IT. I DRIVE OVER 60 MILES(ONE WAY)TO HAVE HIM WORK ON MY TRUCK ND OTHER AUTOS. . I HAVE USED RPM's FOR OVER 6-7 YEARS. I HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AT WHAT CAN ONLY BE CALLED A VERY Fair price. IF YOU WANT TO FIND THE LAST EXHAUST SHOP YOU WILL EVER NEED IT IS RPM'S HE PROVIDES FAIR PRICES QUALITY SERVICE AND YOU WILL HAVE A FEELING OF COMFORT IN WHO IS WORKING ON YOU VEHICLE.

This Man Is An Overpriced Rip Off Artist . He Screwed Up The Alternator, And The Computer Brain Box, On My Mom's Car And Threatened her in front of a Bunch of People . He has a Bad Temper . I was having a intermitant brake problem 2 other shops where not able to figure out. The guys at rk auto got it figured out on my first visit. It ended up not even being my brakes, but instead a faulty axle causing my antilock brakes to come on at slow speeds sometimes. Very happy with repair & price.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Had my brakes done in May 2014, in October 2014 I was at Tires Plus getting new tires when the mechanic there discovered ALL FIVE of my right rear tire studs were stretched out, and when they went to put the lug nuts back on, one of the studs BROKE OFF! Apparently when Midas put my rear tire back on after the brake job in May, the lug nuts were over-torqued. During the next 5 months that the damage was done, THANK GOD that the studs didn't break off while driving!!! It costs me FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to get the hub assembly replaced, along with 5 new lug nuts, BEFORE the car was even drivable again. I called and spoke to the Cudahy Midas manager, they refused to take responsibility, so I contacted Midas Corp and filed a claim....of course that was just as useless, they "tried" to intervene, yet in the end they couldn't do anything...surprise! Some BS about it being past 90 days, um I wasn't claiming the brakes were faulty, just the labor who damaged my vehicle! AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

Service as great. Done when said and less than expected....it was a BMW!

I highly recommend Steve and crew for repairing your Audi (and other makes). After a long search for repairing my car, Steve was very helpful over the phone without even seeing the car. He gave me an honest opinion and range or repair cost - again, without seeing the car. I brought it in and he repaired it and a couple other things he found that were related. When I came to pick the car up, he noticed another issue when pulling it up for me. He brought it right back in the garage and let me borrow his car while they made this additional repair. I was not charged for this, as Steve took responsibility for it. Honesty and fair pricing is difficult to find, especially with cars that are expensive to fix, and I'm thrilled I've landed at a place I can trust and use moving forward.
