I have been taking my 2009 Hyundai Elantra here for years and always have a pleasant experience. They are great at communicating, and when my car needed to stay for a couple of days, they graciously provided a "loaner" at no charge. And I always enjoy looking at the latest artist installation on the walls while I am there (I've been tempted to buy a couple of pieces once or twice!) I know there's the old cliche that women are taken advantage of at repair shops because we generally don't know a lot about cars, but with a woman owner - who is a mechanic herself - and 90-percent women employees (including a working mechanic), I always feel like I'm getting the straight story, explained to me in a way that I can understand! I can't say enough about Chester's. My Daughter at Elon University had some issues with our Audi - Chester spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem found out it was a major issue with the cam shaft. I checked online and found out it was covered under a 10 year Audi extended warranty. I had the car towed to Audi of Greensboro. I asked Chester what I owed him...he didn't charge me! Wow - If we weren't three hours away I would take all my cars there. Nice honest and competent.

This was my third visit to Shadow Mountain Auto Service! I have two vintage cars and my daily driver! I moved into my home nearby one year ago and I was fortunate to find such a reputable repair shop! Curt and Graham once again went out of their way to make sure the car was properly repaired. They kept me informed on the progress and the cost so there were no unexpected surprises! I am very pleased and trust them explicitly and would highly recommend them and I am very fussy with my cars! I have been going to Desert Hills for years. Tim has been keeping up my 1986 Silverado. His prices are reasonable and fair. I also take my 01 Rav to him. Recently put in a new Radiator. Very pleased with the results. Never had a problem with his work. Before that he gave it a tune-up. Zoom Zoom!

Ray Morgan and his team have done it again. I recently purchased a Jeep. It had been sitting for years, tired, sad and maybe even a hopeless cause. As a female, I always feel like I might be seen as an easy target for auto shops, thank goodness I discovered this place. My car wouldn't start and I couldn't jump it and these guys came to me, took my car in, and gave me a clear estimate without making me feel pressured to spend more than what I could afford just to get my car back. They found some other issues and gave estimates on those but nothing was done to my car before advising me so i knew exactly what was due at the end of the day.
