If honesty and fairness is what you are looking for, look no further. I have taken a number of vehicles to Dan and never been disappointed. He has addressed everything from oil changes, to suspension, AC, exhaust, and cooling issues. Everybody I have recommended has had positive experiences as well.

The employees at SubiWorx are Subaru enthusiasts and extremely knowledgeable about Subaru vehicles. They work exclusively on Subaru vehicles. The price for which they performed all the maintenance below was very reasonable. After the work was performed my car ran and rode like new. It has been 3 months and 5000 miles since the work was performed and the car is running/riding perfectly. 522 of these trouble-free miles was a vacation trip with the car packed to the rafters, (yeah we probably overloaded it) from Phoenix to the White Mountains in July heat. No problems at all, great trip. At the time the work was performed, my 2003 Forester had over 105000 miles on it. I have performed most of the normal month to month maintenance over its long life (oil and filters). It had been a trouble free 105000 miles, but after all that time and all those miles; all four struts were at end of life, needed replacement, and the suspension rode rough and clunked. The timing belt was due for replacement; and it is recommended that the timing belt idlers, the timing belt cog, the timing belt tensioner, the water pump, the thermostat, hoses, belts, and of course coolant, be replaced when replacing the timing belt. Also the transmission fluids were due for replacement. It also was overdue for a tune-up; plugs & wires. All the research that I performed informed me that all this maintenance work was going to cost me a pile of money. Knowing what the dealers charge I was reluctant to take it to them, thinking that as much time/miles as my 2003 Forester had on it, I might be better off using the money I would spend at a dealer for all this maintenance as a down-payment on a new Forester instead. I was reluctant to take my 2003 Forester to an independent mechanic, as the Subaru vehicles would seem to me to require a more specialized expertise. Found them through a friend. I had a leaking brake line in the ABS of my BMW 540i. Took my car there yesterday. They did a great job in fixing that in an absolutely amazing price. And they also did a free inspection of my car and told me about the probs that I might face in future. They are not at all pushy about selling their services. I am really impressed with their service. Now I know this is the place to take my car for any service that it needs!!!!

As a female, I always feel like I might be seen as an easy target for auto shops, thank goodness I discovered this place. My car wouldn't start and I couldn't jump it and these guys came to me, took my car in, and gave me a clear estimate without making me feel pressured to spend more than what I could afford just to get my car back. They found some other issues and gave estimates on those but nothing was done to my car before advising me so i knew exactly what was due at the end of the day.

I was referred to Jeff by a stranger who fixed my flat tire about 2 months ago. I visited the business yesterday and Jeff was very honest, open with the evaluation. He invited me to look under the car to see what was wrong with the tires and he corrected the problem without any charge because it was due to loose nuts in the tie rods. He double checked all the tires to ensure they were on tight and sent me on my way. I feel because I am a female, sometimes, I have been taken for a ride and sold a bill of goods. However, in this case, I had experienced an honest mechanic and that is rare in my experience with mechanics. I give him a high rating for excellent service and I respect the man who recommended him although I have never seen him again. Jeff gets my business from now on!

Today was my first visit to Schorie and it was a great experience as opposed to other repair shops! I believe I actually found a decent, honest and respectful auto repair shop. I took my car to them with a right rear wheel making a loud scraping noise. I thought surely it was an issue with my brakes hence preparing for a large repair bill! It was the exact opposite when Rick came out and said it wasn’t the brakes but a back plate somehow got bent and was rubbing up against the rotor. I was shocked knowing how many shops would have come out and said that will cost $500 or so to fix. When I asked him what I owed for the repair Rick said “Nothing at all, it was an easy fix”. how many repair shops would have done that? I guess you know where I’ll be taking my car for any further repairs! Thank you Schorie Team….
