Brian very patiently and expertly diagnosed the reason for my engine suddenly shutting down for apparently no reason.

I purchased a used 2000 Nissan Maxima from Dublin Nissan on 8/27/2010. This was a replacement car for a 2000 Maxima that I owned but was totaled in a recent auto accident. I found a replacement at the Dublin Nissan dealership, which appeared to be a perfect replacement because the Car fax report I was given by the salesperson indicated that it was maintained regularly according to the 2000 Nissan Maintenance schedule. In addition to the Car fax report, the salesperson showed me a list of recent repairs that had been performed by their service department to bring the Maxima to acceptable Nissan sale condition – Services performed included replacement of the two front tires, and brake pads on all 4 wheels. Based on both the Car fax, and the Dublin Nissan Service reports I expected no further service would be required for sometime. Was I wrong! After we purchased the car and drove it home over a hundred miles away, my wife sensed a vibration in the steering wheel while braking to exit off of I-80 near our home. I was concerned enough about the vibration that I took the Car to the Brake Masters in Roseville on the following Monday. They checked out the vibration and found the front and rear rotors to be warped. They had to resurface the front brakes, replace the rear ones, and replace all four brake pads. The brake job cost me $ 655. I contacted the Dublin Nissan salesperson, and asked Nissan Dublin to help pay for the brake job, since the Dublin Nissan Service just serviced them and did not disclose that the rotors were out of specification. The Nissan Dublin’s service department had to know the rotors were warped because they reported the brakes were check, and only needed to replace the brake pads. I believe that the Dublin Service department should have fixed the rotors and replaced all the brake pads before giving their approval on the brakes and the sale of the vehicle. My boss referred me to Ignacio Auto a while back, so I finally went a couple of years ago and really liked them a lot. I always hated having to go to a mechanics to do get anything done with my car. Personally I think Im a bit ignorant when it comes to the workings of a vehicle but I do know when something might be wrong just by the sound and feel of the car Im driving. I've always felt that other mechanics try to get me to approve unnecessary work to be done so they can charge a lot just because Im female. The first time I went to Ron and Marcel, I felt like Ron really listened to what I believed was the issue. He had Marcel take a look and sure enough I was correct. They didnt try to sell me more than what was necessary, which I appreciated. Ive taken my car there a few more times since then and Ron always explains things to me in way that I can understand. I find them to be very fair in price and feel they are an honest business. I had my son go to him for his car needs and recommend him to all my friends and family.

I've been going to Autowise for years. The people who work there are friendly and professional. Right now my family owns and maintains 5 cars. Autowise services all of them, and I have never been stuck by the side of the road in any of them because they do such good work. That is very important to me, especially when my children are behind the wheel. As far as price goes...cars are not cheap to maintain! I would recommend that you shop around. You might find a better price, but remember the old saying...You get what you pay for!

I have used A+ for my cars for a number of years now. The work is always done correctly, on time and I am treated politely. They explain things to me in terms I understand. A huge plus is the ride TO and FROM work so that I am not bothering colleagues to get a ride. I recently had to use the dealership and it reminded me why I go to A+ instead, polite, on time and professional.

I brought my BMW into Holland to assess an issue that I was having with my transmission. After the assessment, Holland said that I needed a new transmission, which would cost approximately $8,000.00. I got a 2nd opinion from another repair shop and they said that Holland was grossly incorrect and that my problem was only a minor computer issue. It was an easy fix, my car runs fine now, and the cost was a hundred bucks. I am terribly upset that Holland presumed that I should replace my entire transmission and spend $8000 when it was only a small issue with my car computer that should have been diagnosed correctly in the first place. I trusted Holland and I was misled.

This is the place I will return again and again! I am very impressed on how they handle the entire process of my car trouble. I was changing out my drive belt and ac belt, not only their price was more than reasonable but their work was spot on! I was able to get in and out fast. Also ask for an oil change while I’m there and it was not a long wait at all! They were upfront about the cost and give me a detailed break down. They also warned me about taxes and fees that may apply later at check out. No hidden cost that will surprise you later. The BEST tire place! The atmosphere of the business is very relaxed and friendly, and they make sure that if you decide to wait there, you're totally comfortable doing so. But more importantly, they're fast and efficient, polite and courteous, and have good pricing with no tricksy upselling. I've bought tires here and had them checked just for tire pressure; nobody made me feel dumb for requesting that simple service.
