Auto inspection service near Cerritos, CA

Excellent customer service at this American Tire Depot, I didn't had no problem at the first tire depot in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd when I purchase my tire set but after today I'm really disapointed I called a appt for my tires to be rotated the guy was able to give me the appt the same day I was happy but meanwhile my truck was getting a oil change @ the dealership which took almost 2hrs instead of 1hr so made me late to my appt at American tire depot in Torrance so I get there and the guy didn't want to help me at all because it was almost 3 o'clock and had 4 cars ahead of me. I wouldn't mind to wait but he didn't even offer me. Instead he wanted to give me an appt for tomorrow, so I started calling all the American Tire depot around my area and found me the 1 in Hawthorne in Rosecrans Ave the guy who answer my called told me to come in and was going to help me with my rotation and they sure did help me ASAP when I got there and was out in less then a 1hr thank you guys so so so much for your help. I saved $100 on tires by coming here and I'm glad I did. I ordered a set of 4 tires and made the appointment on their website (which included a $20 off promo for booking online) I made the appointment on Sunday and had it scheduled for Tuesday AM as they would have to order them and they wouldn't arrive till Monday afternoon. Monday afternoon I called to confirm my appointment for Tuesday morning and Charlie let me know my tires would arrive in the next hour and that they were available to install now if I was interested. I dropped the car off and 1 hour later I had 4 new tires installed. They even had a nice shine to them. The paperwork was taken care of quickly. Charlie in the office was helpful and courteous. I drive back and forth between Northern and Southern California quite a bit. I drive a 2001 Toyota Corolla without AC. Anyone that has ever driven the 3 hour drive down the 5 freeway in the summer knows that's awful without AC. My friend from Huntington Beach recommended d and s and they did a great job. The owner, Steve was very direct, and he showed me the parts he had taken out to let me see exactly what I was paying for. His wife handled my paperwork and was super sweet and cheerful. I would recommend.

They take the time to go over every small detail of the work being done and problems found. They make effort to keep the Costa as low as possible for you, These guys care about doing the best job they can for you. If you need auto work done, this definitely is the go-to place.

Mel is a very reliable and honest mechanic! Goes over and behond to take care of his customers. Does outstanding work and completes his jobs in a timely fashion. Mel and his employees are very friendly, approachable and, knowlegable of what's taking place with your vehicle. On top of the great service you'll receive, you'll like his fair and reasonable prices. I've been patranizing Mel's Auto for over 5 years, with a 2000 SUV full service including a transmission rebuild to service on a 1974 Chevy pick up truck so Mel is all around when it comes to cars he deals with. Always customers in his lot!

The service was great and the mechanic was very friendly and helped in explaining the entire process to me. I was in and out of the shop within 10 Minutes. I highly recommend this shop.
