Ryan is an amazing mechanic! Very knowledgable, personable, and honest. I recently moved from LA and have used the same mechanic for 15yrs on my Acura's, so I was hesitant to find a new one in SD. I was so pleased to find Ryan, b/c his approach was very similar to Jay my previous mechanic. He was able to fix my brakes, change the oil, replace the door locking mechanism, and have Hertz pick me up and get me a rental car: all for a reasonable price.

Took my 2012 Nissan Maxima here for an oil change and 115,000 mile service in June. I had an appointment but after waiting 3 hours I left with only an oil change. They told me I needed to replace my brake pads ASAP as my front pads only had 4 mm left, replace my front 2 tires ASAP and get an alignment because there was “uneven wear and tear on my front tires meaning there is a serious problem with the alignment”. Well 2 months later I just took my car into a shop down the street to get my front brake pads replaced and they informed me that they are at 8 mm and need no service at this time. they also said that my tires need to be replaced but there is NOT any uneven wear or tear. This is fraudulent business practice.

Eric and his team were great. They didn't have my tire in stock and my dealership didn't have time to change my tire this weekend, so i purchased the tire from the dealership and these guys took care of me free of charge. Not only that, they informed me that the dealership sold me a used tired when i bought a new one. I appreciate these guys for being upfront and giving me advice on the situation. Will be returning for all repairs in the future.

I had them performed an engine swap in my Jaguar. The job was complicated because I had a Corvette 5.7L engine used to replace the 4.0L Jaguar engine. The job was completed in 2 days without any problem. Other shops that wanted the job asked for 7 days at least. I'm glad I found these guys - they are now mechanic for life. Good job!!! I will highly recommend you to everyone.

What can I say? Unbelievable service from Dan (the owner)! He personally stepped in and made a horrible situation bearable. Our daughter wrecked her beautiful BMW (which we purchased from Dan). She took it to the BMW dealership and they wanted $$$$ to fix it. I called Dan and he immediately started working to help me out. He studied the estimate from BMW, researched the parts needed to fix her car (way past office hours), and gave me an estimate of what he thought the repairs would run. And it's not a surprise it was a fraction of the previous estimate! Dan set up the tow, ordered the parts and fixed my daughter's car in less than a week. It was short of miraculous! On top of the incredible service, Dan threw in a personal 'car class' to educate our daughter how to properly take care of a car. Brought my Honda Element in for an oil leak. Other place wanted to replace head gasket, but Rusty diagnosed it to just the valve cover gasket and camshaft end caps. Saved me from unnecessary repairs. BnC seems to be very honest and only fix what really needs to be fixed. They are not trying to sell you or talk you into all kind of repairs. I can highly recommend them and will bring our cars there for any needs in the future.
