I had problem with the engine with my Mercedes and was cautioned about visiting a dealership. A friend recommended this shop and I drove there .Although it was far from San Jose I am glad I did that . They did a good job and fast and were very courteous... I am very happy with their workmanship and reasonable prices. I just wanted to share my good experience with everyone. Two thumbs up! Azar S.

I took my car to Alex about a week ago. One of the best mechanics I've ever been to. He took the time to check what's wrong with my car and got back to me with a fair estimate and price for labor. I recommend California Auto works to anyone looking for a FAIR price and a good family business. Anyone telling you otherwise is just looking for a cheap deal versus good honest work.

I brought my BMW into Holland to assess an issue that I was having with my transmission. After the assessment, Holland said that I needed a new transmission, which would cost approximately $8,000.00. I got a 2nd opinion from another repair shop and they said that Holland was grossly incorrect and that my problem was only a minor computer issue. It was an easy fix, my car runs fine now, and the cost was a hundred bucks. I am terribly upset that Holland presumed that I should replace my entire transmission and spend $8000 when it was only a small issue with my car computer that should have been diagnosed correctly in the first place. I trusted Holland and I was misled.

Jorge of Baja's auto tech has done several jobs for me over the last year. He has been honest with me and given me a good price every time. He has not tried to convince me to do something that doesn't really need to be done. He trouble shoots problems like a master mechanic should and only does what makes sense to do. I'm happy that I can trust him and that he gets my job done quickly. I highly reccomend him!

When I first came to California a year ago, my clutch ground completely away from my 1999 VW Jetta and I needed a repair. I was expecting to pay $800, but was billed only $630! Al was terrific and my car drives great now. Al and Jeff at expert mobile have a combined 60 years of experience (I asked) and have incredible service. Since then I go to Al for everything, knowing I will walk away with great service, at a low price, and that he got the job done quickly. I recommend Al to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. (He even helped explain to me that I didn t need some repairs that would have cost me a lot!)

My daughter came for visit for holidays and her car had check engine light on. Took the car to Steve at Meineke day after Thanksgiving and he got us right in. 007 mb e350 I have been to these guys two times and both times they handled my car and service with amazing care and detail. First time was for a service check up and their price was unbeatable by anyone within a 10 to 20 miles radius. Second time my car would not start when it was cold in the morning. So I took it to them and after having a diagnostic, turned out my crankshaft sensor was no good. They fixed and teat everything and so far the car runs amazing. Will check back within a week to see if any more problems shows up. Thanks autowerk eurpean definitely my go to guys!
