I have come into this shop since April 2022 to do four installs, including speakers, a subwoofer, an amp, and a head unit. The first install was fine, but I noticed that Felipe was constantly saying that he has "been doing this for 30+ years". After the next few installs, he became more and more arrogant and his customer service skills went out the window. Instead of helping me find a solution to any issue that would come up, he would say "what can I tell you?" or "I told you there would be nothing but issues with this unit". Also, he would take 1 week vacations constantly throughout the year without notice or website updates. He would also stop answering messages via text and voicemail. The last visit was the worst on 10/21/2022. After spending $580 just for a head unit install without parts, I came for a follow-up. I asked him to add the two usb cords that came with the head unit somewhere under the dash. Thirty minutes later, he calls me to pick up the vehicle. He had drilled straight through the area under the dash without asking me or even taking off the panel first, and he did not even have the courtesy to clean up the plastic debris. I really hope he did not drill through any wiring behind it. I felt like he rushed me out because he was going on vacation the following week. Overall, I believe Felipe is someone who is unenthusiastic at this point in his career, and he will likely retire soon. I would not count on any warranties that he offers or responsiveness. This shop is disrespectful and unprofessional and puts the JL Audio banner outside the shop to shame. Take your business elsewhere. If he treated someone like me who spent a lot of money at his shop, imagine how Felipe will take advantage of you. Thanks

Had a minor body issue with my van that went $1k over estimate and 2 weeks over time with no communication. My wife had to call daily to get updates and was told "my manager will call you back" every day for over a week with no response. We went without our family car for so long without any apology or understanding. To top it off, they did extra work like charging for a tire replacement, alignment (i only had a scratch on a door and drove my car over 200 miles after my body damage), painting a door that wasn't affected at all, and charging us extra for a moulding job that seemed exorbitant. Again zero communication about this. Finally when I went to pick up today, they told me I had to pay $2500, then $3,000, then finally $250 after I calculated the insurance checks they had to find in their system with my own calculator. I wasn't aware of any charges due, so told them I'd call with a CC once i got home which is 19m away, but that's the only time the manager even seemed to care - when he wasn't getting immediate payment. Shouldn't have to be a fight to get my own car and not get ripped off. Never again.

They are always friendly, knowledgeable and can usually get me right in. They have taken great care of my two older cars, that I love, and kept them going for years.
