Very understanding to my situation and was able to offer me a drop off and a pick up ride to and from their shop. Very polite and professional. I came into this shop and ask how much it would be to diagnose and replace the thermostat and water pump - they quoted $57 for the diagnosis and $657 for the work. When my husband dropped the car off they wrote the quote much higher so I called to dispute it and was told this was there standard price. I asked them not to work on the car because I didn't feel comfortable with the sudden price change. When we picked up the car it had been moved and I asked why they said they were about to begin the work when I cancelled. I drove it across the street for a diagnosis at another shop and was told that the Coolant hoses were disconnected and all of the coolant was running out of the car...and the car could not be driven it had to be towed!!! Costing us even more money!!! There were no leaks when the car was dropped off at CME. The thermostat light had come on a few weeks earlier we filled up the coolant, nothing was leaking because the car sat in our drive way for two weeks while we were on vacation....until we could drop it off at the shop. Please beware of these vindictive crooks...

These people were life savers!! We broke down 12 hours from home. After our truck was 'fixed' at another repair place we broke down not less than 3 miles away. We got towed for the third time thankfully to Street Tech. Corey knew how desperate we were to salvage any part of our vacation and he went above and beyond. They stayed open an hour late, he correctly diagnosed the problem with limited time, went to bat for us to get the part we needed and fixed it! He charged us less than the first place that didn't even fix the problem! He called us the next day to make sure everything was ok and that we made it to our destination. I only wish I lived in Orangevale because I would never take my cars anywhere else! When we weren't sure it could be fixed in a day, the receptionist called a car rental company for us and gave us a list of hotels nearby. They were friendly and helpful when we most needed it. This is an honest, hard working, stand up place with people that are amazing. If you live anywhere near Sacramento I would check it out! Paul was so personable, honest and forthcoming ... his family-owned and operated business was a God send. Thank you and your team for stellar customer service. I have been a long time customer and they took care of me a couple years ago. Having said that, I have never been so screwed over by a company. Trusting them to fix my car and save me money, I left it with them on a Monday morning. Then I rented a car and waited. Wednesday I call to find out the status and they STILL have not even touched my car. I ended up renting a car for 8 DAYS. $300 later, (cost of car rental), they STILL had not gotten around to fixing my car. So I picked it up today and drove it over to VW in Roseville. They quoted me $400 to fix my car in about 24 hours. So THANKS roseville engine, for doubling my cost of fixing my car. OMG don t ever take your vehicle to this location.
