1 year ago my brother-in-law referred me to Midas Diamond Bar after I told him I felt the Toyota dealer I had been going for 3 years up-sold some unnecessary services to me. Since then this place has been my go-to shop for all my car maintenance and repair. The staff (Nitin) was really nice and very honest. Doesn't try to push some unnecessary services to you. They make sure that they take care of you nice and fairly and that you feel comfortable with them so you will come back. And I will def come back. -Jared Wu

Got a flat and got it towed here because it was close to Cal Poly. People here are really nice and they fixed my tire for free! Brian was really cool and we had a friendly conversation while Mynor was fixing my tire very quickly. Probably the best experience I had at a car service location. Highly recommend! Jose Jimenez

Decided to give this repair shop a chance since it's close to my house. The facility was clean and the manager Jonathan was very courteous. Oil change was done in reasonable time and price was great since I was able to use coupon. Jonathan was patient enough to answer any dumb questions I had after the service. Great shop!

I am writing this review as a warning or caution to those who are considering taking their vehicle to this particular shop. I am a nearly 60 year old professional who has been a loyal customer of Midas for many years. I usually take my vehicle to the shop in Mission Viejo but for the past couple of years or so have been taking it to the Lake Forest location. In the past I have always dealt with the manager, Marcos, who was polite, professional and helpful. I wish he was still there. I recently had an issue with my taillight/blinker not working and I brought my vehicle to the Lake Forest Midas. I was told the electrical plate the bulbs plug into needed to be replaced, which seemed reasonable and the repair was made. Since that plate has been replaced by this shop, I have had to bring my vehicle back several times because the same taillight would stop working. I tried to explain to "Manny" that the problem is most likely a short or loose connection with the electrical plate they replaced. Manny could not have been any less interested in what I had to say, would talk over me and at one point told me they "don't do electrical", although their Whitepages advertisement states they do. The very next day, after one of my several trips back, my battery was completely drained. I tried to explain to Manny there must be a short or loose connection but again he just talked over me and dismissed anything I said. Manny told me I needed a new battery and $200.00 later sent me on my way. The SAME taillight went out again and again Manny was rude and not interested in helping me but said he would have his mechanic take a look. When I picked up my vehicle Manny was not around and the mechanic, who was actually nice and apologetic, told me no one ever told him about the electrical plate they had replaced, so he re-worked all the connections and sent me on my way. Long story short, taillight went out again and when I tap it with my hand, it goes back on, indicating a short or loose wire. I brought my vehicle back today and told Manny what was happening. Again, he could not have been any less professional or helpful and REFUSED to complete the repairs his shop initiated. I asked for the District Managers phone number and Manny told me he is the "Owner" and they would just have me call him anyway. I told Manny I would still like the number and he wrote down a number that actually connects to Equifax. Dishonest ? Disgruntled ? who knows ... hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else ... good luck.

Had two flat tires on the way to get a horse. These guys changed what was wrong in literally 5 minutes no muss no fuss! Amazing place will be back to get our tires done in the future! Jamie Schicht

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. This is one mechanic shop that you would like to visit when you really need your car fixed. They really take care of you, very honest, reasonable and they do things right the first time. My next door neighbor in Orange recommended this shop to find help for my creaking suspension and wearing on my new front tires that were wearing on the inside tread to the silver wires. Pep Boys could not fix it and told me after two trips to them to find a suspension shop. This shop was just a phone call away and took me in immediately on Friday August 3, 2012. My 1987 Nissan had quick attention and work began immediately to get my car back to me that afternoon! Their work included replacing the driver's side axle which had a badly ripped and torn axle boot, gravely worn strut rod bushings and axle arm bolts. Of course I had to replace the worn tire also. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and worn out parts were also shown to me. Their advice on my other questions to check out my car's condition was most helpful. Wow, a very serious problem was fixed with fast, courteous services. Even better than the fast service, their prices were reasonable also. Thank you Plaza Mufflers! Just ask for "Johnny."

Star Auto Service is amazing. They really do the job right and take care of their customers. From the shuttle service to calling and giving me updates, I really appreciate their attention to detail. They even gave me a loaner car -- a Mustang which is considerably cooler than the minivan I left for repair. I've had a problem with an automatic side door that wouldn't stay open. The dealer spent an entire day and insisted I'd have to replace the whole door. I brought it to Star Auto and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost. They sent me a diagnostic of the whole car with pictures identifying the problem. Excellent service and great repair. A+++++ Jodi B.

Having my car repaired at Finishline is like having my brother take care of my car. They serviced my car in a timely manner, let me know I did not need brakes when I thought I did, even checked my spare tire pressure (which was flat) and updated my GPS for no charge. It is great to know I have my very own pit crew!

Al and his team at South County Brake and Auto are wonderful. They have serviced all of our family cars for over 10 years. This business is the type every non-mechanical person wants to have as a go to. They are trustworthy, timely and they do what they say they are going to do. There have been a few times where I have needed them to look into something and they were clear in explaining the problem and fair in their estimation of costs. I would highly recommend them for brake repair along with general mechanic services.
