Exceeded my expectations. As a woman, I am always suspect of what "problems" I am told my car may have. Randy, brought to my attention two issues which they fixed, but showed me a picture of what it looked like before and after. WHAT A CONCEPT! PROOF...I love it. The other first .... I'm selling my truck and went to these guys to work out some issues. I needed fast service and asked them to make an exception for me on timeframe. Of course, I told them I understood if they couldn't get to it sooner than later. Mike made the exception for me and gave exceptional service too. Instead of giving that knee-jerk response so many people do of a deep sigh and a long pause to work it out in their head, Mike double checked, made it happen, and didn't make me feel like I owed him one for doing me a favor. I tried to leave him some extra cash for being so generous and he said no way and that he was happy to help. I left the $20 for him anyway on my way out because good people with great attitudes should be rewarded for going above and beyond.

These people were life savers!! We broke down 12 hours from home. After our truck was 'fixed' at another repair place we broke down not less than 3 miles away. We got towed for the third time thankfully to Street Tech. Corey knew how desperate we were to salvage any part of our vacation and he went above and beyond. They stayed open an hour late, he correctly diagnosed the problem with limited time, went to bat for us to get the part we needed and fixed it! He charged us less than the first place that didn't even fix the problem! He called us the next day to make sure everything was ok and that we made it to our destination. I only wish I lived in Orangevale because I would never take my cars anywhere else! When we weren't sure it could be fixed in a day, the receptionist called a car rental company for us and gave us a list of hotels nearby. They were friendly and helpful when we most needed it. This is an honest, hard working, stand up place with people that are amazing. If you live anywhere near Sacramento I would check it out! These guys rock!! SUPER FRIENDLY, GREAT PRICES, WILLING TO HELP OVER THE PHONE ETC... I had trouble getting out an ignition switch and called the guys at ALL DODGE TRUCK... three different times. Very patiently, the guy explained what I needed to do to get to the switch for removal. He told me he knew exactly how to do it because an 80 year old man had come in earlier with the same problem and instead of turning him away (because they don't even sell that part...) he robbed an ignition switch assembly from one of his trucks AND INSTALLED IT FOR THE GUY and charged him $10 for the part (cheaper than retail) and charged (0) for the service/labor... My family has used H&M for almost 40 years. I can call them with my dumb questions, and they have a great sense of humor, appropriately priced and fast! Steve and Robert know their cars and are definitely from the old school crowd of trustworthy, quality mechanics! The only place to take your vehicle in Sacramento and walk away happy!

They have the best costumer service and there workmanship is top notch. I have live in this area 20 years and have never felt this good about a shop.

Jeremias took $3500 from me to put a used engine in my old car. Once he took possession of it and took the head off, the game was over. When removing your car and going somewhere else is no longer an option, you have the tiger by the tail. The "cost" kept increasing up to $1800 that I still (involuntarily) agreed to. ($1500 had been my target cost) The last day he told me the final price was $3100, (+ the $700 for the used, untested motor...which was BAD) without my having approved of THAT absurd figure. Many "chores" were charged as separate procedures to jack up the price. Charging hours of labor for motor mounts when the engine is being replaced anyway is one example. The engine had no oil pressure and the "engine" light was on. Smog was due in six weeks and a component was missing. I had to sell the car for junk ($49 at Pick N Pull) and I had to go to court. I won in court but he won't pay. The sheriff went for a "till tap" but couldn't collect any money because he does cash transactions from his pocket. His profile with the BBB and others was not consistent with his past life, as far as years in auto repair, etc. He knows every trick in the book. "If you give this man your ride, sweet memories will die." (slight variation of the Jim Morisson song) I have all the paperwork to prove these comments, from the greed-driven invoice from 1st Choice to the $49 receipt from Pick N Pull. In court he acts confused and thinks I should have brought it BACK to him! I'm actually a little curious to see how high his lack of shame would allow him to raise the price. Of course I regret paying the total to remove my car. I should have let him keep it, but I thought the legal route was the way to go. Well...not so much with this slick operator.

Oh Wow! What happened to Doug the "Car Czar" that we all used to watch on tv and trust him and value his opinion??? Have you ever seen anyone crash so fast and hard- all I see are reviews that he's ripping people off and dis-satisfied customers. This is so sad to watch happen. Sometimes people just go off the rails and it snowballs and before you know it things are out of control. How long can the business stay open at this rate? Really sad to see- I hope he can turn his business and reputation around but what are the odds of that?
