Got in a collision July 1. Here we are on Sept 10 and my car still is not done properly. I was originally promised the car on 8/13, but that was delayed a day or two due to a previously unknown bent axle. Picked it up 8/15. Immediately noticed several issues, including parts not painted and dents not repaired. Brought it back to them 8/20. Went over everything with them. Picked it up again 8/29. Only half of the noted repairs were complete. Picked it up again 9/4. Still had issues with paint, part alignment issues, etc. Picked up again on 9/10. Still missing parts, paint, body seams not properly fitted, electrical still not working, lights unplugged…List goes on and on. Steve has been very apologetic and even put me in a rental the last couple of weeks but it’s not enough. I have the car back and will push my insurance company to finish the job somewhere else. Take it back once...it happens. Twice, maybe they were busy. But 5 times and still not right? Go somewhere else.

I took him to small claims court and won a $5800.00 judgment and to this day he's only paid about $1200.00. I strongly suggest anyone considering taking their car to this crook to go on the San Bernardino Superior Court website and click on "case information online", go to the civil system and put in both Marty and Prieto's Body Shop and you'll find numerous cases which have resulted in judgments against these crooks!!!!!!!

Where do I begin? Holy smokes - what an experience. This is the worst experience ever. Too bad you can't give ZERO stars and/or negative numbers. All you need to do is ask Lou (the guy I've been dealing with since day 1). I have a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. My car was sent there by Infinity. This is the insurance used by the other party who hit my car. My car suffered rear bumper damage among other damages. Lesson learned - you can take your car to any body shop you desire. Don't be fooled into believing this is not true. I'm not saying I was fooled into believing this but many believe it. My car was there almost an entire week. Needless to say, I returned the rental and I went to pick up my car because I was told it was repaired and ready. The first thing I noticed was the display for the rear view camera was not correct. I pointed this out to Lou and I agreed to stay a bit so they can attempt to resolve the issue. My first question - did anyone perform some kind of QA on the car before calling me? Since then, I've taken my car back multiple times (on my own time and no rental). I have been very patient and I have given Sharp Image many opportunities to correct the MANY problems I have discovered and the problems they created. What started out to be a $XXXX.XX estimate has now almost doubled and escalating. They have replaced the camera, the trunk lid and a couple of pieces which they broke when attempting to repair my car AFTER I was told my car was completely repaired. They repaired one of the pieces with a piece of a cable tie/strap! My trunk doesn't close properly now. The inside paneling of the trunk would not hold in place since the accident so Sharp Image decided that in order to repair the paneling they would insert 2 screws to hold them in place. Yes, Sharp Image "repaired" the paneling issue by screwing them into the trunk. So now, I have 2 screws/holes inside my trunk. Some might say, there just 2 screws but the fact of the matter is it's my car and I want it repaired properly. The final straw for me was when I was told I had to take the car to the dealer for the camera issue. I informed Sharp Image that since the trunk lid was replaced that there are MANY imperfections in addition to the aforementioned details above. For example, the rear end brake lights are part of the lid but the right side compared to the left side has gaps and just didn't look correct. I informed Lou about this and I asked if anyone looks at the post-work installation? His response was yes they do and that parts can only be put on one way. Huh? I understand they only go one on way but the fact that there are MANY imperfections doesn't that raise a red flag? He then told me after my visit with the dealer to bring back the car AGAIN so he can look at the imperfections. I humored Lou and told him I would take it to the dealer. Do you think Sharp Image has called me for an update and/or any kind of follow up? The answer is no... So I thought maybe it was me, right? Maybe I'm just being difficult and nitpicking. I called Infinity and voiced my concerns and displeasure. I told them I was going somewhere else and took it to a Ford dealer. I showed the service guy (not the body shop guy) the imperfections and his reaction were priceless. He shook his head and could not believe the "repairs" performed by Sharp Image. He then looked at the camera issue and shook his head some more. I wonder if they thought I wouldn't check their work/repairs. Obviously, something is broke with their process. How does ALL of this go unnoticed? Why did I have to point this out to them? So as of 05/13/14, Ford has my car and is repairing my car properly. I have NEVER written a positive/negative review for anything in my life but I had no choice but to do my first review. I can go on about this experience some more but it gives me a headache just thinking about it. I read the positive testimonials on their website and just laugh. I wonder why they don't post these types of testimonials. Again, I thought maybe it was just me but before taking it to the dealer I showed all the imperfections to many people for their reaction/input. Results were all the same. They all shook their heads and they were in disbelief. You can show someone in high school my car and they can point out all the problems within seconds.
