Engine repair service near Piedmont, CA

I was looking for an honest, straight forward, no-glitz service shop who could take care of our 2 Subaru's. I Yelped the Walnut Creek area and found Car Doctor with straight A's. That piqued my interest. After reading the other reviews, I thought I would give Car Doctor a try. I know my cars histories inside out, as I keep a spreadsheet on their services, mileage when anything happens, etc. I even know how many millimeters are left on my brake pads. I was 99% sure I needed rear shocks, and I knew the rear brakes on the wagon were very low. And that's what also Car Doctor said. No up sale, no gimmicks, just the honest truth.

Sunset Garage deserves more stars than 5. I have fired so many mechanics in my life, and it must have been because I was waiting to find Georges and his crew. I have been using them for well over ten years and am one of their biggest fans. I ALWAYS recommend them anytime somebody brings up an auto issue. They can fix just about any auto out there, and can even tell you the "lemons" to avoid when you are out looking for a new or newer vehicle. Again, THANKS GEORGES!! You are the best. Steven H. This place is GREAT!!! Bo and Todd are so nice and helpful. They did not try to overcharge me like some places and I really appreciate that. I'm so glad I've found a good mechanic and I will be sure to recommend my friends.
