Metro Transmission, located in San Marcos, CA is a family-owned and operated business. Owned by Mike and Brenda Johnson, along with Brenda’s brother, Rick Grant and his wife, Michelle. Rick proudly took over when his dad, Bob Grant made the decision to retire after 50 years in the automotive industry. Originally from Minnesota, the family came to California in 1983, leaving behind a successful transmission business for beautiful California weather. Eric and his team were great. They didn't have my tire in stock and my dealership didn't have time to change my tire this weekend, so i purchased the tire from the dealership and these guys took care of me free of charge. Not only that, they informed me that the dealership sold me a used tired when i bought a new one. I appreciate these guys for being upfront and giving me advice on the situation. Will be returning for all repairs in the future.
