I've been looking for a new doctor for our family's cars. Tho' it was one experience, these guys impressed me with knowledge and even educated me on my truck's sickness to allow me to make a proper decision. No sales. The tech that looked under the hood and diagnosed even noted an oil pan leak which they fixed with sealant at no cost (tho' I was getting ready to pay them for a bigger ticket item). They seem relational and fully aware of the "good Yelp"...which is very smart and forward-thinking. I will bring more cars to them, as such. Joshua G. San Diego, CA

I love FTS because I can trust them. That's a big thing for me when going to see a mechanic, especially for the first time. They have the most incredible reviews and I got a glowing referral for their services. They lived up to ALL the hype. I went in for an oil change and I got a no-nonsense assessment of what needed to be done and when. They didn't try to oversell me or get me to fix things that weren't in need of repair. I really appreciate that! They also worked quickly and got me in with little notice and completed my service before the estimated time. I will definitely be back to FTS, in fact, I have my other car scheduled for this week. :)

Great customer service - I originally bought 4 Winnrun tires in Murrieta and "tested" them on my commute to work - 60 miles. Horrible tire for an Audi A4. Manager at store of purchase said they were similar to my Toyo's. Ummm, no...So I went into the Kearny Mesa location and was greeted by Daniel and Joey I told them my issue and was promptly issued a credit for the tires and exchanged them for a set of Toyo. You bet I would recommend Dr Ttrans. how do you really know if a business really does stand behind their work? I took my 2003 Toyota in for a complete transmission rebuild just over 3 years a go in June of 2009, I have had no trouble the entire time with the transmission that Dr Trans rebuilt for me. But just last week I thought I had ad issue with slamming when it changed gears. So I took it back to Dr Trans. they put it up on the rack made a some sort of adjustment and I have been good to go for the last week. The actual transmission was out of warranty, but Chris made the adjustment for free and had I taken my truck in like I should have for that last years free adjustment I probably would not of had this problem anyway. What a great place to do business with, in a day when folks put you on hold ,play loud music you don’t like, and give you solutions that only cost you more money… Dr trans stands behind their work and were nice enough not to charge me dime when they could have. I told the owner Chris that I would post an on-line comment. You will see this post in several places because of Dr Trans great transmission service. Thanks guys again. Been coming to Tony for 5+ years. He treats you like family, and prices are very competitive. Cox is the type of place you can be openly clueless about cars and not get ripped off. They gave me a free loaner car any time I asked.

Gary and Sharon have done it again! I have been going to their original shop Aero Auto for almost two decades because of their extraordinary service. They recently bought this shop, which is a little closer to my house, so I took my car in here last time. They have done a lot of work to fix it up so it looks nice inside and out. It's so nice to have an auto repair shop that is clean and professional. Sadly, it is still somewhat difficult to find shops that treat women with respect. But that is definitely not the case here! They have created a friendly, comfortable environment for anyone needing their car repaired. And with the free coffee and WiFi, maybe I'll just hang out next time I need my car fixed!

I've been going to these guys for years and years, for all my cars. Today I came in to get a slow leak repaired - they did it for free, even though the car I brought in was on its original tires (in other words, I hadn't bought tires for that car at Tire Depot). I also trust these guys to mount tires on rare rims on my vintage vehicle. I think the longest wait I've ever had in all my years going here was about an hour-and-a-half. To top it all off, their prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended. Greg McKim

You will not find a nicer person than Tony. This guy CARES and is extremely knowledgeable about vehicles. We just bought a 1984 Chevy RV and the guy we bought it from said the carburator didn't work correctly. We took it to him and he checked it out and easily could have charged us to "rebuild" it as we were convinced it was that and it could cost hundred of dollars to fix. He went through the whole engine and found that it was the vacuum hoses and he replaced them all, and the belts on the 1984 were rough. He said you can get away with driving it like that, and NO PRESSURE to make the decision, but we decided we didn't want to break down on the way to the desert! He worked hard and long on our RV and made sure EVERYTHING was looked at and he charged us what we thought was going to be hundred of dollars just $150 after 4 hours of work! We were there the whole time and he never stopped. If you want someone who is going to treat you right, call Tony! You wont be disappointed! He normally works on cars, but offered to help us out in a time of need. If you need a good mechanic that works on your cars the right way and treats you the "right" way, call Tony!

These are great people. They know what they are doing. The location had changed from one in La Mesa. It is easy to find and get to. I went there for several years straight and never had issues. (With the service or people.) I always had my car (Toyota) drive the best after taking it to Bond's.

I had all four tires aligned at Motec and I'm very happy with their work. They were friendly and took the time to explain what they were doing. They were very careful with my Boxster and now the car handles great. I recommend these guys for doing alignments and they charge a fair price. Some places wanted to double the price just because it was a Porsche. Glad I went here and will go back there again when I need an alignment done.

Ryan is an amazing mechanic! Very knowledgable, personable, and honest. I recently moved from LA and have used the same mechanic for 15yrs on my Acura's, so I was hesitant to find a new one in SD. I was so pleased to find Ryan, b/c his approach was very similar to Jay my previous mechanic. He was able to fix my brakes, change the oil, replace the door locking mechanism, and have Hertz pick me up and get me a rental car: all for a reasonable price.
