Just having a couple of customers a day helped him pay the bills and his recently purchased home. In 1992 his amount of customers grew and was able to open his official licensed auto repair facility in the city of Hawthorne CA, for the next 5 years the businesses boomed from one bay to a 3 bay, 1500 square foot facility, not having enough room he was forced to move to a 2500 square shop in Inglewood, CA. Ten years later he moved to 1129 S. La Brea. Inglewood CA. with 10,000 square foot lot and 4 employees Universal Auto Service still offers great prices and an awesome customer service.

Star Auto Service is amazing. They really do the job right and take care of their customers. From the shuttle service to calling and giving me updates, I really appreciate their attention to detail. They even gave me a loaner car -- a Mustang which is considerably cooler than the minivan I left for repair. I've had a problem with an automatic side door that wouldn't stay open. The dealer spent an entire day and insisted I'd have to replace the whole door. I brought it to Star Auto and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost. This place was great. At the time I went, about 6 months ago, it seemed that the brothers had recently teamed up on this new smog-check business venture. One of the brothers was there when I arrived and he was incredibly enthusiastic. He offered me reading material and a coke while I waited--- I turned him down, but the gesture was very sweet. Overall, the guy did my job quickly and efficiently and with an ardent desire to please his customer. What more could you ask for? And he was open late-- hence how I ended up there after passing mulitple closed smog check only sites after work.
