I have been going to The Auto Service for as long as I can remember when they were then known as Swedish Asian Auto Service and have had excellent service each time. Everyone who works there are very knowledgeable and friendly and know what they are doing. There is no one else that I would trust my car to. They are like family! I recently moved to Oceanside and do not have a car right now, however, once I do own a car again, I hope to find someone to service it as well as The Auto Service did. Happy Anniversary John! Battery replacement
We’ve been taking our cars here since 1992. This is the most honest and reliable shop around. We have 2 cars with over 200,000 miles on them that Steve and his crew are keeping in great running shape. TAS also services our new Honda and Ford. They are quick, efficient and have great customer service!

I left "vehicle parts" blank not because of service, but because I have no knowledge about the parts used... My car is running well so everything appears to be working properly. I feel confident and relieved to know I'll be able to keep driving my car for a few more years.

Friendly and Honest

Best Mechanic in Santa Ana
Looks like I found a new mechanic! My regular mechanic was unable to fit me in for a vehicle inspection, so I began looking around for local AAA approved shops. Given the overwhelmingly high online reviews, I called The Auto Service, and I was delighted to discover that the good reviews are well deserved. When I called, John (the owner) spoke with me on the phone and said he would be happy to fit me in that day. Once there, I was treated kindly and professionally by every staff member I encountered. They went out of their way to be helpful. It's also worth noting that the customer waiting lounge is far and away the nicest I have seen anywhere. As it happens, I didn't get to spend much time in there, though, since they set to work on my car as soon as I arrived and had me out of there in no time. This will certainly be my go-to place in the future. Micahel Robinson
