Alvin and Paulo are definitely one of a kind. I originally went here for an oil change as yelp had great reviews regarding their service and specializing in Mini's and BMW's. The reviews are true and they provide great service and treat all their customers with integrity. They are not a shop that will tell you your car needs service just to make a buck. They are straight forward and honest in what your car may need and leave the decision up to you. Recently I unfortunately had my Water pump go out. I called A's Garage right away and Alvin stayed after hours to receive my car from the tow truck and even gave me a lift home. Can't say may places would do that. This shop has won me over and this will be where I will surely get all my services from, from now on.

one of the worst feelings as a car owner is when that red "check engine" light appears...ugh. i brought my truck in today knowing that robert & his crew would be honest with me and let me know if any repairs were truly needed. i feared it was my alternator, a very costly repair... turns out it wasnt, and was related to the ignition box which has been replaced earlier that morning. no repairs were needed! big sigh of relief! i continue to give this business my loyalty because i trust them. bonus is that you get a complimentary car wash with your service. win! win! thank you again silver star !!!

Hubert has always been good on communicating with me and telling me when something is not needed. I moved to the south bay over 10 years ago and he's always been my 1st call for any of our auto needs. I highly recommend. They specialize in Amsoil and that all I run on my wife's Honda and my F350. Don't get me wrong they have a vary of supplies.

The service at Rick's was terrific! I was on my way to take my son back to UC Irvine from Agoura when my battery and engine lights came on. It turns out I needed a new alternator and belts. Rick went out of his way to accomodate my schedule. He fixed my car promptly which enabled me to get my son back to UCI to attend class that afternoon. Mark and all the folks at Preferred Auto are the best. Since i have had a couple German cars lately i haven't been there for a year or two. When i brought in a used Acura for them to check before i bought, they did an extremely thorough check, and though it was low miles, the car was older and needed more work than i wished to do. The charge was more than reasonable, i would have been happy even if it had been 50% higher for the work done. They are always honest and fair and look out for their customers first. What I love about this place is that they are courteous and helpful. I called and spoke w/ Bill the manager told him my issue, brought my car in and because it was just a minor issue I was in and out in about 30 mins or less!!! I will definitely take my car back there!

Went here on a referral with a coupon to have AC service. Mechanic did a good job , didn't try to up charge me. Honesty and integrity very much appreciated don't find that with a lot of mechanics these days!

OET had my problem diagnosed within two hours and had my car back to me within the same day. I was shocked when I was told that the problem was minor. My repair cost substantially less than I expected. I knew then, that I had finally found an honest mechanic.
