Engine repair service near Verona, CA

Tom and the gang at PV Garage have performed services on my wife's Mercedes ... cleaning out a nasty rat's nest under the hood and repairing the wires they chewed through ... and most recently a brake job on my GMC Yukon. I restored a 1970 BMW. This shop disassembled the transmission and reassembled it. I asked them to replace seals, fluids and let me know if there were issues. They I paid them to install the transmission as we had issues connecting it to the engine. I was charged about $1500 for the work. We got the engine working a few months ago and took it for a ride. The transmission leaks and the car will not go to second gear. I talked to Bud about it and he refused to work on it or refund money for the work. He blamed it on me and my car for some reason. I paid him what he asked. He told me to sue him if I wanted to get the money back. Worst car repair transaction I have ever experienced.

Both times I've visited Antioch Tire and Auto Center they have given me great service. The people that work there are friendly, knowledgable, and who can complain about getting almost half off on changing your transmission fluids? I will definitely be a returning customer!

Straightforward, patient and considerate of my ignorance when it comes to cars. Mostly interacted with Bruce, who was very helpful, but the small interactions I did have with the rest of the staff were just as nice. Reasonable prices and a very professional atmosphere. My Mercedes 2003 c240. The whole front end was busted. Conrtol arms, bushings, etc. I took it in, and the work was fantastic! My car came back clean, and running smooth! I'll be back for my shocks and hoses my car needs. I'm super happy with the service! Happy I found someone I can trust, and knows my Mercedes. YAY!

This guy (Mark) is AWESOME! I mean where can you find an honest mechanic? Right here! This guy has the most honest place I have ever been. He told me one time, "no, you don't need a tune-up, just an oil change for now. Tune-up can wait." I have been his customer for over 15 years and he has worked on my Mitsubishi Endeavor, several vans I had in the past, my wife's Kia car... and I tell my friends that he is cool! You can say, Dave sent you, hehe.
