Tire repair service near Yucaipa, CA

I don’t know how to review this mechanics shop. I had a full brake job done on my van. The back brakes squeaked afterwards and they replaced all the parts and did the job completely over again. Then the front brakes were faulty, my steering wheel wobbled like crazy. They had to re-do the entire job on the front. This is two separate appointments, for a total of 3 times in the shop. My conclusion is this: If they had used quality parts to begin with, I would not have experienced this. Either that, or they never even replaced the brakes, they didn’t do the work at all, took $1845 and ripped me off. They didn’t show me any bad parts, didn’t offer to show me or give me my old parts back. The office gal is wonderful and tries very hard to make sure the customers are happy. They did fix the problems in the end. But it took too much of my time, too much of my lost money not working, and too much trust is lost. Overall review: WOMEN BEWARE. I think they are taking our money and not doing the job.

I've had good luck taking my jeep here for servicing. The mechanics here were able to solve a problem that kept causing the engine light to constantly come on. I'd taken my jeep elsewhere in town and the problem was never resolved until I brought my car here. I would definitely recommend this shop. Staff is courteous, professional, and has kept my 15 year old vehicle running smoothly! I will definitely continue to have all work done on my car here at George's Sierra Shell. Nancy

Probably the most honest place in town. I came because Econo Lube told me I needed new brakes which sounded fishy since they were about a year old. Came here and after a few minutes they said I didn't need them. They just needed some tweaking and cleaning. Boom! Worked like new, no more terrible noise, they wouldn't even take my money. The whole team is super nice. We've been here tons of times, they might not always be the cheapest game in town but they've got a customer for life. Erick Uribe

First let me say the African american manager I assume never greeted me. We had new tires and two alignments done and less then 6 months later the tire was half bald which obviously indicates the alignment was not done properly. As soon as my husband begin to question and ask about next steps we were immediately told to read our contract and we were basically "dumb" for thinking that should be pointed out. The manager said come back later and I'll do the rotation although you didn't read the contract over and over in an extremely patronizing manner. I have an 08 ml350 in good condition so if the work had been done right we would not need new tires less then 6 months later. More then that this gentleman is basically "yelling" at my husband as if he is not intelligent. My husband is an accountant of high intellect I then informed him not to contract me because we own a business and are aware of how contracts works. At the end of the day we do what is right for the customer not in a manner that demeans or patronized them. He begin to yell louder mock me say " I'm not dealing with you I assume because he did not want to be corrected by a women. This man was extremely unprofessional condescending. Funny thing is when the caucasian women went to get her car he placed her keys in her hands warmly and said have a beautiful holiday. But I did not even get a how are you today. Being in management for 17 years I have never personally experienced reverse racism. Guess there is a first time for everything. Please stay away from this place. If you can't please read your contract and you will be better served if your non black. Good luck and choose wisely.

On 12/20/11 I took my 2005 Nissan Maxima in for repair to the braking system. I was told upon inspection of my vehicle that the issue was warped rotors and bad pads on the front; the rear brakes were deemed to be in good working order with good pads. I was quoted a price for the work which I found acceptable and asked them to proceed with the work. The work was completed within the day and I paid for the work. The car needed some unrelated work which could not be done by this shop so I took it the following day to get those repairs done at another shop, the car was only driven home and to the shop for the motor work. I got the car back on 12/23/11 and noticed that the brakes were still shuddering when stopping. I called Bob & Al's on 12/26/11 after the holiday to make arrangements to get the brakes checked but I got a recording that they would be closed until 1/3/12. I contacted Bob & Al's on December 10th in person and I was asked to bring it later that week which I did 1/13/12. They kept it all day and said the front disks were warped again and that I was to blame for driving the car hard, I explained that I had barely driven the car and I tried to contact them on the 26th but they were closed. They turned the rotors, but when he took it for a road test the same issue was there. I was asked to bring it back for troubleshooting on 1/18/12 which I did. They stated that the issue was now the rear rotors that were very warped and they would have to be turned, which would cost me 75.00. I told them to proceed but was not happy. I got to their shop at 4:30pm and asked the Owner how this was missed the first time and second time? He said there was no way he could know that just by looking at the rear brakes. Then he got belligerent and said he was bothered by my questions and that if I thought he was cheating me I could go F*ck myself and that he did not need my F*cking business or my money. The reason I go to Rays Auto service is simply because I trust they give the correct diagnosis and repair it correct. its hard to find a place that is not trying to make an extra buck and up sell you.

These guys failed to speak to me after the repair they did failed. Don't go there!
