James and West Highlands Auto repair were unbelievably helpful and were beyond fair in a variety of ways. Although my car repairs ended up costing far more than I imagined- they worked with me to find ways to reduce the overall cost and took it upon them selves to fix additional technical problems eating the labor and parts costs- what mechanics would do that? James has wonderful customer service skills, is kind, professional and really is dedicated to leaving the customer happy. He's a really nice guy.

I went in for a simple headlight issue. They fixed it quickly and I felt the labor and part costs were fair based on my research. The customer service was great, and they have a military discount. I will certainly be back in the future if I need more car help.

This is the most amazing place I have ever taken in my car. These guys, Mike, Steve and as of a couple of days ago the newbie Lance are all amazing, caring and most of all nice and funny and just truthfully and down to earth!... Ken Hall in the last week- Just had my 2005 Dodge Ram engine completely rebuilt. Took a bit longer than expected, but well worth the wait. It has never run better, even as new. Picked it up Friday, and headed straight for elk camp. The increased power is amazing. I am getting 3 miles more per gallon, and that's with only 500 miles on it thus far. These guys really know their stuff. I would highly recommend then for anyone needing diesel or auto service.

Avoid this place at all cost... They stripped my lug nuts when installing new tires and then with in 6 days 3 of the 4 tires went flat due to not properly sealing the tires to the wheels!

My wife's 1999 Ford Escort had a problem with its timing belt. We took it to a certain blue and gold auto repair shop on the same street and was told our water pump was to blame. Guess what? The Ford Escorts are designed so that the water pump has no contact whatsoever with the timing belt. We were lied to by that shop. We took our car to Jim Paris instead and got great service. They immediately identified the defective timing belt and honored the warranty on it even though we didn't buy it there. They also repaired some associated issues at no additional charge. I highly recommend Jim Paris and I will go there first next time I need car work done.

Very good work, and excellent warranty on work performed, Personnel well informed, and experienced, always cordial, and ready to listen to customers concerns. Been a customer for some time and highly recommend them. You may get better price somewhere else but you may not get quality work, as you will here.
