I recently dropped off my 2019 Dodge Charger at Thompson Automotive because the steering began feeling stiff and rigid rather than smooth and effortless. Having some automotive knowledge, I figured this was due to the vehicle's power steering system. I didn't know exactly what type of power steering my vehicle had, as there are a few different options, but I knew that my experience driving the car had worsened. After dropping my vehicle off at Thompson Automotive and having it reviewed by one of their mechanics, I was notified that my vehicle didn't have power steering whatsoever, and thus, there was nothing to be fixed. Even the mechanic who inspected my vehicle reassured me as such, saying there would be nothing to do except add power steering to my vehicle. I insisted the steering was smooth until recently, but the mechanic shrugged off my concerns. Unconvinced, I called a friend who is a mechanic and runs servicing for a Dodge dealership. He reassured me that my vehicle does have power steering and informed me of different reasons why my power steering would be failing. With this in mind, I took my vehicle to a local Dodge dealership for another inspection. They notified me that my power steering rack was leaking fluid and that I would need a new rack and pinion. This was expensive but necessary, and upon receiving my vehicle with a replaced rack and pinion, my steering was back to normal. I'm disappointed in the lack of care and service from Thompson Automotive. I drive my car all the time, and my experience should guide the inspection process when diagnosing an issue. When I say that the steering used to be smooth and is now stiff, the mechanic should seek to understand why such a thing is occurring. How would it be that my car doesn't have power steering if I tell you it used to steer smoothly? Instead, my concerns were shrugged off. As a result, I cannot recommend Thompson Automotive to anyone seeking automotive repairs because of their lack of consideration and thoroughness when looking over my vehicle. At least they didn't charge for the time they spent misdiagnosing my vehicle.

Most of us don't have a full range mechanic on call. You really should write down this contact. Your car is going to have a problem, perhaps major, and you will will find yourself floundering and knowing what to do. I have found the answer. Urban Autocare in Littleton is the best. You will be treated with fairness and courtesy. They understand this this problem is a big deal for the customer and take it seriously. From the start, communication is timely and easy to understand. The repairs are perfect and they go beyond to take care of you. (I had a loose piece on the front bumper that they saw and fixed up for me.) Easy to talk with and always available to provide info. They not only provide very knowledgeable, technical and accurate maintenance for my car, but they provide one of the best customer service experiences in the city of Denver. Not only is Nate a repair genius, he's also an honest, hard working, genuine guy. I came in to get a tune up, bearings replaced, front end aligned, and fluids flushed and replaced. He did all of that and also found out where that annoying clicking was coming from. Instead of using a $600 local part, he found the part in Texas for half the price! And instead of just flushing all of my fluids and charging me for the whole shebang, he saw that only the power steering fluid was dirty and only did that. Not only will I come back for my Subaru needs, I'll also tell all of my friends with imports to check with him first. Amazing service, prices, and customer service. Trust me, go talk to Nate before you go anywhere else. I definitely will.

Cars aren't secure on lot nor do they care. Car stereo was stolen from my car while on Antillon property.

Charged $140 for the WRONG diagnosis. Quoted $2000 for the work, which wouldn't have fixed it anyway! Went elsewhere and got my car running again perfectly for $400. These guys are either scammers or extremely incompetent. In either case, AVOID THIS PLACE!

Do not ever go there. It is the worst shop on town. All I wanted done was to have my plugs changed. Jeep has never run right since. Jeep was test driven before service, ran fine, plugs were installed and test driven, said to be fine until I drove away and the ran very rough. Service manager was rude and would not fix the problem they had create. Do not go there.
