Honda service near Darien, CT

Today we took our car to Honda City ServiceCenter to drop it off for an oil change. The professionals at Hond City took 45 minuites to check in the car and lectured us about the proper procedure for when oil chould be changed. I am thankful for their professional input as the last four vehicles we have owner only had over 100,000 miles on them when we sold them andnever needed ay type of engine work. Guess we did a pretty bad job maintaining them. This was the first of the "free" oil canges Honda provides as part of our new car purchase. I can assure youit will be the last as well. I will take the vehicle elsewhere where they can get me in and out in a reasonable time andactually know what they are talking about.

As the Manager at this facility, I would like to take this opportunity to provide some information in regards to the previous post. The above customer came into our facility with two concerns. First, check a no start condition. It was a simple diagnosis, the starter had failed. We replaced the Starter, charged standard book time and the cost of a new, not rebuilt part. We even gave the customer a lifetime warranty on the part and did not charge a diagnostic fee. The second concern was to check a no heat condition. We verified there was no heat, and there was a noise coming from the dashboard area. I explained to Tony, this would require removal of the lower part of the dash board to diagnose and there would be a charge. It could be either an acuator, a blendoor, or even debris causing this condition. Tony declined. All the information was clearly marked on the receipt, in which, Tony had signed. I would be more than happy to repair the no heat condition on his old, high mileage vehicle, but he did not want it repaired due to cost. I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands.
