TO MAKE IT FIT THEY FORCED IT BREAKING THE MANIFOLDS. I WAS THERE 20 HOURS LEAVING AT MIDNIGHT! THE CAR CAUGHT FIRE ON WAY HOME TO PORTLAND BECAUSE THEY GLUED THE BROKEN MANIFOLD WITH EPOXIE REISEN. THEY KEEP CHANGING THEIR STORY EVEN MADE VIELED THREATS AGAINST ME. DMV SEEMS WORTHLESS TELLING ME AFTER I GET MY JUDGMENT THEY WILL ACT. WHY PAY TAXES IF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES SET UP TO PROTECT US FAIL TO DO SO? MEINIKE KNOWS THAT AND CONTINUES HARMING OTHERS. THE MIDDLETOWN FRANCHISE IS ONLY ONEIN CT. WITH PAGES OF COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM IN THIS MEDIA. JUST CHECK FOR YOURSELVES. I AM NOT ALONE....

Worse place to get your car worked on. They couldn't even change my brakes correctly. They hit my car while at the shop and refused to take responsibility for it. I ended up taking my car to Toyota dealership because they screwed it up and hit my car. BEWARE STAY AWAY!

I have a 2008 Impreza with 60K on odometer that stalled on a stop light. I call the tow company and suggest the nearest auto shop. Unfortunately it was Auto Tech in Stamford. Service writer told me $129 for diagnose before he can give estimated price for a repair. He call later that day and said the technician has found nothing major issue except I need a new battery and minor engine tune-up. He quoted a price of $650. I said I have other concern about my AC is not blowing cold. He said they will do another diagnose and give me a quote to fix it. They found out my car need a new AC condenser which cost $750 to fix. All in all I paid $1400 after my Triple A discount. I ask about the warranty he said 2 years. After a month my AC is not working again so I bring it back and they told me the new AC condenser works fine the problem is the compressor it need to be replace. it’s kind of fishy to me because when they diagnose my AC for the first time there’s nothing wrong with the compressor now they insist it’s broken and wants me to spend a $1000. Sorry to say but these guys are crooks and untrustworthy. I suggest to avoid this shop they will take your money and never fix the problem.
