On May 17, 2010 we assisted my brother Ronald P. Marschat, who has a learning disability and my mother Shirley Smith, who is a retired disabled senior, purchase a 2011 Toyota Camry from Charles Toyota Norwich, CT.We purchased a wrap around extended warranty vehicle service agreement for $1,572.20 with a 125,000 mile or expiration date of May 17, 2017, a key guard replacement program, an auto armor system, a Nano paint sealant and a Toyota auto care prepaid maintenance premium plan. At that time they financed the car with Toyota Motor Credit Corporation for 1.9 %.He was making his payments on time.He was taking the car into the same dealership for its maintenance and the maintenance service advisor kept telling him he needed to put a better protection program on his car. Then they started to call him stating that he needed to put additional maintenance programs on his car. My brother was confused and worried because he was not sure what they were asking him to do.On April 10, 2012 my brother and mother went to the same dealership to talk with them. At that time they used high pressured sales techniques and talked my brother and my mother into refinancing this same car as a used car through Greenwood Credit Union with 5.99% interest rate for four years more. Also the same dealership resold them another extended warranty through CAREGARD that was not as good as the original one, another key guard plan, another Nano paint sealant and undercoating service all of which were still in force when he originally purchased the car in 2010.Upon contacting the original companys with the warranties we found that both sets of warranties were both intact.A meeting was set up and upon arriving at the dealership we were treated very poorly. Crooked business. Had an exhaust dump valve welded in. I don't know how they did the job, but they decided that welding about 3/4 of the circumference of the pipes together was "sufficient enough"--clearly laziness because the pipe was hard to reach. I wondered why my exhaust sounded so terrible. Also, they didn't even do the install as I asked--they placed the valve in the wrong spot. Overpriced. Do not go here. I have photos of proof.

For the past few years now, I have trusted "Narragansett Auto Repair" with my car (and my wallet)! The two people to talk with there are Dan and Donna. Dan is the owner and I've enjoyed watching him as both the "boss" and a mechanic and on that rare occasion when he and his employees are stumped with a diagnosis, he is humble enough to turn elsewhere for input. They are all the kind of persons that I want to give me an estimate, to work on my car and to be trusted to tell me when something needs maintenance or just needs to be fixed. I wanted to thank the mechanics of Safeway on Atwood avenue in Cranston for their excellent service on my vehicle. My wife and I went in this morning for an oil change and inspection. They went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. They Informed me of preventative maintenance and that my tire pressure was not correct and even corrected the issue. The price was fair and service was excellent. They put plastic in the car and even vacuumed it! I go to Safeway with my company vehicle and my personal vehicle for all repairs/maintenance. I highly recommend Safeway to anyone who cares about their vehicle and want to know that their vehicle will be properly serviced by quality mechanics!

Joe Papolla Jr or Joe & Son's Service, Inc In Cranston, Rhode Island, and the rest of his family, have almost 70 combined years of experience being thieves and screwing the public. Guys a thief. Half the time he cant figure out what is wrong, even something as simple as a tire leak. Other times, he cant fix it the first time, or the second, or the third. And dont be fooled, he doesn't do all his own work, he farms out the bigger or more complex jobs to others who are just as incompetent and could care just as little. He engages in both insurance and warranty fraud. he charges customers for replacing parts he never replaces and services he never performs. Having earned himself the title of "The Clamp King" for his belief he can fix any automotive issue by putting clamps on it and the customer will not notice, no repair he makes can be counted on to last or be done correctly. Complete A-hole. Although, maybe you could bring him something like a ford escort and he could figure out where the washer fluid goes.Maybe. But he'll probably just throw and bunch of clamps on it and say its fixed hoping you dont know it. Consistently screws customers and credit card companies by not touching cars that are brought back to him for his screwing up the repair the first time, hoping to not restart the clock on the claim. He has mastered the art of escaping liability for his malfeasance because he has faced every type of claim throughout the history of this business which should tell you all you need to know. The only way he stays in business is through police and organized crime connection in the sh*t bag state of rhode island.
