This Midas location is less than 5 minutes from my house so I always use them. Not just for the convienience, but for the guys that run it, and the excellent service they provide. They remember my name, my car, and my wife. One day I dropped my car off to be serviced and was waiting for my wife to get out of work to pick me up. One of the mechanics shift was over so he offered to run me up the street to my house. They remember what service you got last time you were in and ask you how its been working out for you. They are very honest and straight forward. If you need something done you didn't know about they will let you know and give you an estimate, as well as a timeline for which you should have it done. These guys are very nice and they work fast. Midas is not the little oil change chain I thought it was. Its an actual garage, with many services available for a great value.

Being an ex-mechanic I only bring my cars in for service when I lack the tools to do the job. Hence I use(d) this auto center for alignments, mounting tires, balancing tires, and rotating tires (merely because they have a lift and rotate the tires for free). I started using this Goodyear service center after the Midas that I previously used lost their competent manager. When I began using this Goodyear service center there was also an excellent manager. Sadly that manager left, and this service center has degraded in quality to the point that I would consider bringing my car there dangerous. I recently used their tire, rotation, and balancing services for the last time. I have experienced tire pressures in excess of 20 psi over what is recommended by the manufacturer on the door jam, improperly torqued lug nuts (I witnessed this in the shop as well as checked the lugs with my torque wrench when I got home. Improper torquing of lug nuts is quite dangerous.), improper tire balancing (after bringing the car back 3 times), and improper alignment (after bringing the car back three times). I do not recommend this service center for alignments, tire mounting and balancing, or even tire rotation (due to improperly torqued lug nuts). And if the techs are so sloppy as to disregard tire pressures and torque specs, I sure as heck would not want them touching something as crucial as my brakes. I have recently started using Weber Wheel Alignment in West Palm, whose techs are competent and attentive. They got my alignment spot on in one attempt so I never had to bring the car back. They will be getting my business for tire mounting and balancing as well now. Which is saying a lot as I'm located south of this Goodyear, making the trip to Weber quite a bit longer than I'd like for car service.

You have my word on it!! ? First I will tell you that your car is too dangerous to drive, and I will not let you leave my shop without me repairing the fake and made up repairs. I start by saying that your brakes are no good even though I never even looked at them. Another scam is I tell you that your serpentine belt is about to break and that you will be stranded on the highway. This works every single time lol…losers. ? We will charge you for work that is not done to your car, and have no problem lying directly to your face. We at Tilden won’t install any new parts into your car because we don’t take out any old parts….this is a big part of my scam! ? You all are fools and that you do not know anything about auto repair. We’re big on bait and switch; it’s a great money maker. ? At the end you will be furious with all tactics and lies I use to rip you off. I do not care one bit about you or your families’, or the public’s safety for that matter. ALL I WANT IS YOUR MONEY period and I will do and say anything I have to get it from your wallet or purse! Remember, you’re all fools!! I WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BACK when I’m caught and this I promise you!! ? When I lie I don’t remember what I say or to whom I’ve said it to. That does not bother me at all; my MO is that I make things up as I go along. ? I am counting and “banking your money lol” that you do not take me to court; this is how I make my money by ripping you off. I mean who has the time to go to court, pay more money for the forms and then take time out of work to appear. I promise you that I will lie in court as the laws of Florida do not apply to me lol. The law makers are fools!! ? Go and complain to the BBB or the Florida AG office, all I have to do is deny that any of this ever happened and they will close the case. LOL, the system is perfectly rigged for a guy like me…I love it…SWEET!! Ha Ha Ha ? All I had to do was pay for the franchise fee: of only $29,900 from the President of Tilden Car Care, Robert Baskind (New York). Bob does not care at all how I run my scam business as he already got his money. I promise you that he will do nothing at all about your complaints when I flat out lie and steal from you. ? We do not care about repeat customers, just let me screw you over once and I’m happy, I’ve done my job. I just move on to the next one that’s all. This place is a scam, stay away. They are unprofessional and unreliable. I would bet money they are unlicensed. They will take your money and not preform the service!

Let me come back a 2nd time with a family members credit card to pay for tires and told me I couldn't use that card that I had showed them the first time i was there to pay for the tires. Which is odd because I had done this many, many times before. When brought to the manager he insisted it was a long standing policy. Also other family members saying they felt disrespected there. Go somewhere else to buy your tires.

I called Al Yaghy the store manager about a few things I need to be done with my car. I had an issue with the Goodyear tries that came on my car from the factory. I called and stopped by 4 Goodyear stores in the immediate area and nobody would help me. Al went out of his way to get my tires warrantied. In return I allowed him to service my car and do a full diagnostic. Since then I have referred several friends and neighbors. All Goodyear stores need to take lessons from Al on how to treat customers and provide outstanding customer service, he also has a great team working in the shop. Get there and them service your vehicle......................
