Oil change service near Dade City, FL

This is a Mom and Pop auto repair shop. Mom, Judy and Pop, Jerry run a well oiled machine here. I am an experienced mechanic and they do all my repairs on my 2012 Odyssey. You need an appointment and it takes a few days to get your car in but the work is spot on. Judy manages the work flow and Jerry does the hands on. Very fair and professional work done on my cars over the past 5 years.

Nicest guys I've ever met. Took me in late in the day, diagnosed the problem with my F150 and even though I was at their mercy being from out of town and all, their charges were very reasonable. Thanks for a great job!

Nice guys and they mean well. If you are interested in a top notch professional shop keep looking. This is an old school garage and mechanic that struggles to get the repair completely done the first time you bring your vehicle in. Fully expect not to have your vehicle ready when promised and to get it back dirty inside and out. They will make the repair work eventually but expect to waste a lot of your time in the process.

After being told by a local dealership that my car needed hundreds of dollars of work to include brakes and all fluids , I took my car to Gunder's and was enlightened to the fact that I did not need any of that at all. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and have recommended them to friends that have also had great results. Thankful for an honest place to have my car taken care of on every level.

Been here twice, they've tried to scam me each time. Pull in with their 18.99 coupon, leave with a $49 or higher bill. The last time they tried to tell me I'd need, among other things, a $14.95 "toggle plug" for my oil pan as it looked like I had run over something and bent the pan. I told them to forget the oil change, I'd get it done somewhere else. When I got home, I examined my oil pan....Guess what...no dent. There is a minor scratch, about 3" away from the plug...no interference with any of the function of the pan or the existing plug. My opinion, these guys are crooks.

Long time customer and wouldn't take my car anywhere else! Honest, professional, friendly and no nonsense service. As good as it gets. So hard to find a good mechanic these days and I'm so grateful they're here. Don't listen to the nay-sayers. A+ Terry P. Floral City, FL

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.
