Transmission repair service near Deland, FL

this place sucks! they tried to rip me off for almost $200+ I went in for an alignment and they said they couldn't do it because I needed a new ball joint. I go to a few different places and they said nothing was wrong with the ball joint and I got my alignment done with no problems. these guys are assholes. and I call to let them know about their service the guy starts arguing with me. not only did I wait forever I had horrible service and they tried to charge me for something that wasn't even broken! never going there ever again!

I paid $1,400 dollars to rebuild my transmission, still have problem. All they do is replace the Clutches and seals and use a rebuilt torque converted that's is made in China don't last long. They don't do a complete rebuilt like most shop do, They don't rebuild the pump, They don't check the valve body to make sure is clean or working properly. They don't use the upgrade part to prevent the same problem from coming back... Now I got to pay another shop to rebuild my transmission the correct way... A waste of Money was coming here and trusting this people...

Excellent service. The AC stopped working on our BMW on the drive down from Va. coincidentally we drove by Tropical Auto Air and saw people working and drove in to see if they could help. The mechanic immediately checked and fixed the AC even though they were not really open. As we were desperate, they could have gauged us, but charged a very fair price - $45!

Brought Chevy Astro van in on April 6th after having another shop install an electric fuel pump. Upon leaving the other shop the vehicle stalled a number of times creating a very dangerous traffic situation. The van did need a fuel pump but after the other shop completed the work the problems really started only after leaving and going a few blocks. I had managed to pull over and call them (at 4:45pm) and was told they could do nothing but told me of Walt's. Being only a few blocks from the shop I managed to get the van there where I was told they would check it out the next day. They contacted me prior to closing at 12:00pm and said it was more serious than first thought. After a series of tests etc. it was deter- mined I had not only a computer problem but injector and alternator issues. Long story short, they fixed everything and got the vehicle back better than new and even made an "adjustment" on my bill to offset the time it took to get it right. I WENT TO A SALVAGE YARD IN DAYTONA FOR THESE SPRINGS. FOR 2 DAYS THEY JERKED ME AROUND. THEY WANTED $75.00 EACH. USED ! MY LAST TRIP THERE AFTER 120MI OF TRAVEL (TWICE) THEY WEREN'T OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THEY SAID IT WAS A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM ? THEY WOULD GET THEM OFF AND CALL WHEN READY, AGAIN. MY REPLY WAS "FORGET IT I'LL GET THEM ON LINE". SO I WASTED 2 DAYS AND 6 GAL OF GAS. I WENT HOME AND GOT ON MY COMPUTER AND FOUND S.D.TRUCK SPRINGS. I PLACED MY ORDER AND GOT THE SPRINGS IN 3 DAYS BRAND NEW $75.00 EACH + ($56.00 SHIPPING) W/BUSHINGS ALREADY TO GO. THAT WAS A GOOD LESSON FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS.
