My BMW M3 transmission needed to be replaced and these guys were exceptionally honest in setting expectations, time frames, and expectations. The price was right (and told up front) and there wasn't a single point of contention through the already stressful situation of needing a replacement of this caliber. It is very scary taking your car to a shop do this kind of work and I'm more than pleased to say that they exceeded my expectations across the board. I would and will recommend them to anyone needing transmission service.

To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened. To Ashley Butler I'm sorry I wrote the thing's I did about Ice Cold Air and only can say that Ashley Butler of ICE COLD AIR at 410 S.Dale Maybry runs a trust worthly repair shop and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to go there for any type of repair work and I hope this can be posted for bad mouthing your bussiness for not knowing the facts. An amazing team here, they treat you like family, service is very personalized and on point. Rocky and the mechanics are fair and truthful, jobs are always done correctly and with attention to detail. I have NEVER been disappointed here, they are so knowledgeable and have tons of experience. Hanna and Cindy in the office are amazing and a wealth of knowledge themselves! I am in good hands with them and would never trust my Jaguar to anyone else.

RIP OFF! I brought in my car for a transmission shifting issue. After Jim drove it and the tech had it in the garage for 15-20 minutes, Jim showed me two coffee cups; one with nice pink new fluid and the other with muddy burned fluid stating it was from my car. He quoted me $349 to remove transmission & reinstall. Once out he could diagnose and quote the cost to repair. Repair could cost $500 to $2000, no idea until it was out of the car. I brought my car to another shop. The had me watch as they drained the transmission of relatively clean but obviously not brand new, pink fluid. They adjusted the transmission, performed a routine service - all for about $100. The transmission is as good as new! Stay away from American at 1801 Belcher Rd. Largo!!

I'm so glad I found Gregg's! When the Service Engine light had come on recently, took my car to MINI of Ft Myer who had "diagnosed" my car with a list of items and a $1,400 repair bill. Brought my car to Gregg's, and he checked it all out and found a battery I'd bought recently at a big box store hadn't been properly installed. Otherwise, the car was in excellent shape. He saved me over $1,300!!! I'm a disabled woman on a fixed income, and that meant a LOT to me. I won't take my car anywhere else now. If you want an HONEST mechanic, Gregg is the guy! They even picked me up and dropped me back at home while I waited for my car, then came to get me when it was ready. Gregg called and told me he'd checked everything on my car from bumper to bumper and it was in excellent mechanical condition. If you need your car repaired or even just an inspection to make sure it's all good, Gregg is your go-to guy. I will never go anywhere else now!
