I have a 2002 Toyota RAV4. Suddenly one day part of my exhaust system separated from the catalytic converter. I found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor and called for an appt. He said I could bring it right over for an estimate. He did not charge for the estimate. At first he thought it would need a new catalytic converter which he could get for much less than at the dealer but which was still very costly. I decided to leave it over night and rented a car through his connection with Enterprise. In the morning I called Anthony and was told the car was ready and the good news was that I had not needed a catalytic converter after all and the repairs would only cost about 1/3 of the original estimate. Very good news indeed. My SUV no longer makes noise and it runs great. His work also comes with a 12 month guarantee and I am extremely pleased to have found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor.

I recently came to Hoti Imports Auto Repair shop in dismay over my broken a/c. Upon my arrival I was already filled with disappointment and confusion on to why nobody could diagnose the a/c issue with my car. One shop quoted me over $800 to even take a look at her, another shop told me they couldn't figure out the problem and yet I owed them $300 for the time it took them to figure out that they didn't know what they were doing. There is a saying that the third time is always a charm, well in my case it was! People lack integrity in business and are only focused on making a profit instead of gaining loyal customers. Especially if you are a woman, the easier it seems for men at least, to take advantage of us. My point-in-case is this.. Hoti Imports Auto Repair not only fixed my a/c the same day I brought it in, they also didn't rip me off!! I wasn't charged for the time it took them to figure out the problem, nor was I charged an amount anywhere close to $800. I have gained an enormous amount of respect and trust for this shop, and this will be the ONLY place I take Blair (my cars name) to be worked on. If you are looking for a hard working and trust worthy place to take your cars, then Hoti Import Auto Repair is the place to do it! I have a motor home on a Ford chassis that had an intermittent ignition problem that no one could diagnose for nearly a year. Even Ford was baffled. I finally called these guys who came to my house, correctly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part needed and came back to install it. Problem solved and at a reasonable amount right in my driveway. This Midas location is less than 5 minutes from my house so I always use them. Not just for the convienience, but for the guys that run it, and the excellent service they provide. They remember my name, my car, and my wife. One day I dropped my car off to be serviced and was waiting for my wife to get out of work to pick me up. One of the mechanics shift was over so he offered to run me up the street to my house. They remember what service you got last time you were in and ask you how its been working out for you. They are very honest and straight forward. If you need something done you didn't know about they will let you know and give you an estimate, as well as a timeline for which you should have it done. These guys are very nice and they work fast. Midas is not the little oil change chain I thought it was. Its an actual garage, with many services available for a great value.
