Car restoration service near Orlando, FL

I'm relatively new in the area, and needed to find a reliable automotive repair and service shop to help me with numerous issues that have been creeping up with my car recently. I had been noticing some issues with my suspensions, alignment, and some strange things happening with my engine, and since I'm not an expert, I needed a shop that would provide honest, friendly, and courteous service and wouldn't try to take me (and my wallet) for a ride. I was pleased when I called Car Port Specialist on a whim and had a pleasant conversation with them over the phone. They were patient with me and didn't talk down to me or make me feel small for not knowing exactly what the problem was. I came in the same day and they did some diagnostic testing, and I didn't even have to pay from the estimate. For me, this was big; other shops I called had no patience for me being unsure about the exact nature of the problem, and would have charged a substantial amount for the estimate. In the end, I was expecting the repairs to be more expensive than they were. Ultimately the engine issue was minimal, and the prices for everything were extremely fair. Very, very poor. Would never take another vehicle back there. Never bother to call us and don't return calls. I brought one of our fleet trucks in after a collision 9/10/12. It was all covered under insurance. We were told it was ready 10/22, and it was steering badly to the left. So we took it back the next day. We have since had to take it back three more times since then. When the last repair was completed, they would not release the truck to us without our payment because they had not followed through & contacted the insurance company to add the supplemental repair. Today is 12/6 and we are still not through with them.

My experience was terrible and that is an understatement. The customer service was horrible. I had set up an appointment to have my car fixed a week in advance. They called me the morning of to say that something hadn't been approved through the insurance and that someone would follow up with me later that day. I never heard from anyone. Called the next day, was given a different story that some of the parts were backordered and they were trying to find used parts. I stated I did not want used parts as my car is a 2014. They responded that they weren't sure when they would be able to obtain the parts. And never heard from anyone again. I can see they didn't want my business and that's fine. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it perfectly WITH NEW PARTS THAT WERE NOT BACKORDERED ACCORDING TO THE DEALER.

New to the area and they really know what they're doing. The best mechanics I have done business with so far. Very very impressed and satisfied with all their work, will definitely be my go to guys from now on with everything!

I would highly recommend this place to do any kind of cylinder work you need. The owner is very knowledgeable and explains the work that needs to be done in depth. They are very fast, efficient and professional. I traveled from Orange City to have them work on my cylinder head and it was well worth the trip! Thanks Advanced Cylinder Heads!

I called the shop and explained I have a 3rd party warranty and an AC issue. Their inclination on the phone is "no problem bring it in and we will take a look at it". I brought my car in for diagnostics only. I was not informed there would be a charge for this service. They called me to inform me that my issue was not covered under the warranty and would cost me nearly $2000.00. I advised I would be unable to pay that at this time. They took it upon themselves to complete other things and charge me nearly $200.00 for services I did not authorize during "diagnostics". I wouldn't get my car fixed here ever. Shady crooks.

We were broke down while travelling. Myron dropped what he was working on and got us back on the road. The started testing the truck while the tow truck driver was still unhooking! Myron even loaned us his car to go get something for lunch while they worked on it. Less than 2 hours later we were back on the road. If you have a Ford diesel don't let anyone else in Orlando touch it!!!

I relocated my family to Orlando from Arizona. Upon arrival our Mercedes was disabled. The guys took great care of us and got us back on the road fast. We are life-long customers.
