Body Work
I'm so happy I came across Mechanic on Duty. Carlos, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He took me in right away to reaffix my bumper cover back on to my car. He was extremely helpful and I'm blown away that as woman I was treated so well in a mechanic's shop. I'm recommending him to everyone I know!

Brake Fluid Flush
Hi, Finding a good honest is no fun. Fortunately, I found Mechanic on Duty CB on Mechanic Advisor. After reviewing their websites and reviews, I took the liberty to visit the shop in person to see they will "walk the walk". When I met Carlos, he was cordial and professional. Although I am no expert in car repairs, I asked him questions about flushing the brake fluid. Carlos answered my questions and educated me on new things that I didn't know. This is what I like about Carlos and people alike. They go out of their way to help. Today, Carlos flush out my dirty brake fluid. The system is cleaned and braking has improved. In my opinion, this is a serious job that Carlos did for me because there is no room for error. I really appreciate Carlos' work! If you are in need of good quality service with excellent workmanship, Carlos and Mechanic on Duty CB are the right choice. Qun

New timing belt and overall maintenance
It is so wonderful to find a great mechanic who I can trust. Carlos and his crew not only fixed a problem I was having but checked a problem I had with another shop that I do not trust. And what the other shop told me turned out not to be true and they told me I needed to have something done to my car, which had already been done. So anyone in Orlando needing a good place to take your car, please do try these guys. They are trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable and have great customer service which is hard to find now-a-days. Comfortable Car Care
I say comfortable because that is how Carlos made me feel. I came in with a brake problem, and Carlos inspected the car and diagnosed the problem. He also pointed out other issues and recommended other maintenance work that I had been putting off. No pressure, my choice. He explained everything, did the work quickly, and was priced fair. I will be bringing my future car care business here.

A rare, excellent car repair experience

Power steering pump & other work
Carlos was very helpful. He showed me the damaged parts on my car, and then only recommended that we replace the parts that needed to be replaced. I have a 10 year old car, and he did not push to replace every old part. The work was completed on time, and I am very pleased. I found this auto repair center online, but now I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants quality work at a fair price. He saved me hundreds of dollars, compared to what the Honda dealer wanted to charge me. Thanks Carlos!

Window regulator replacement
My first visit, a great garage!! Carlos was did excellent work, and took time after to explain their warranty and service coverage and made me feel good about the job he does! Better than any garage I've been to. I'll be back for my future work. He kept to the appointment time, and to the estimate he gave. I'll recommend the shop to all. Oil cooler reseal, replace engine mounts, replace axle shafts, replace spark plugs, replace stabilizer bar, replace suspension strut.
Hands down the best mechanic shop I have ever been to. I don't even know where to begin. I did not have one issue with these guys, very professional, very punctual, super knowledgable, very friendly, the best pricing i found in the whole entire central florida. My car was sitting in my garage for about a year in a half, it needed so much repair that, i did not bother to fix it, i got estimates all around town, even from out of town, and it is only when i came across Carlos, and Mechanics on Duty, I decided to finally fix my car. They did everything, I made 1 phone call, and within (4) buisness days, 13 emails of product approvals and estimates, i got my car back, better than when i bought it from the dealership. I felt like I had a brand new car again. I would reccomend my Grand mother to go there, and everyone else who may have car issues.

General Engine Repair
Mechanic on duty is my new go to shop for all of my automotive needs. Carlos and his team were able to quickly diagnose my engine misfire and make the repair within 1 day. They are very honest and fair about pricing and take time to explain exactly what it is they are doing and why. I will now be recommending Mechanic On Duty to all of my friends and family.

I've been going to this facility for a couple of years and they are always able to get things right each time and at a fair price. They also have their own towing vehicle. I had trouble starting my vehicle and they were there within the hour and was only charged $20 for the tow. I recommended them to my family and other people.

Oil change, check up
By far the best mechanic I have had. Being daddy's little girl my father always took care of all the car needs but when you get older you have to learn. Carlos always does a great job, will help out and will be honest about what is wrong with the car! Not like most that will just keep telling you everything is wrong. Carlos will be honest, very friendly and reasonable. I would highly recommend. Thanks

Replace clutch, resurface flywheel, replace brake pads and resurface rotors, oil change
I have had the worst luck with mechanics until now. My clutch was slipping and after paying AAMCO to tell me what I already knew, the gave me an outrageous price and that was just to "see what was wrong". I called around and got estimates. I spoke to friends. Ended up finding Carlos from a referral and he by far gave me the best price estimate. He knew my concerns and kept in touch with me the entire time. He sent me pictures of problems and showed me the parts when I picked up the car. He even discussed with me how to change my driving habits to help keep this problem from happening again. In the end the price was more than fair. The total for all the work done was less than some of the estimates I received JUST for the clutch repair. The service exceeded my expectations and I actually feel I can completely trust him and the work done. This is a first. I HIGHLY recommend this shop and Carlos.

Alternator Replaced

Fuel injector rail and radiator replacement
I saw their reviews and went in. I smelled gas, they gave me a diagnosis and a few options. The price was more than fair. When I picked it up they showed me a small crack in my radiator. I had them fix that also. They gave me a price less than half what Sears charged me 4 years ago for a radiator. They were professional, good at what they did, and affordable. They gave mea ride home and to pick my car up. I'd highly recommend.

Clutch Replacement
Carlos, the owner, provided me with excellent service. I called a few mechanics around the area asking for a quote. Mechanic on Duty CB was the most cost effective. I took in my car in and I was able to pick it up the next day. They stayed in contact with me updating me on progress and even found a better price for the parts that I needed (and had researched online for them) They really went above and beyond my expectations! Mechanic on Duty CB is by far the best auto shop I've ever taken my car to. Not only are they very efficient in diagnosing and solving the problem with your vehicle, but their price quotes are fair and they even provide their customers with a variety of discounts and incentives to help their customers and keep them coming back. They also have excellent customer service. One thing I especially like about this shop are the courtesy rides that were provided for me from my house to the shop, when my vehicle was ready for pick up. I don't know too many other mechanics that offer such a service for their customers. I definitely highly recommend anyone to bring their vehicle to Mechanic on Duty CB. Tune Up
I purchased a 2000 Sebring from a dealership knowing that because of the age, make and model there would probably be a lot of work that needed to be done on the car. I asked my sales rep if they knew of a good mechanic in the neighborhood that I could trust and one who would not take me to the bank. He recommended Carlos the owner of Mechanic On Duty CB. Carlos and his team have worked on my vehicle at least 8 times in the last year and I have been very happy with the service and fair pricing. A couple of times it broke down on the way to work or home (no fault of theirs) and Carlos personally came to get my car and made sure I got to my destination. A few other times after dropping my car off at Mechanic on Duty CB he would drive me back home, or since I’m a student to the library, and then pick me up once the car has been serviced. I have been so happy with the service that I have recommended Carlos to friends and family whenever they have car problems. I give Mechanic On Duty CB an A+ for their service and like their motto states they make sure it’s “Fixed Right The First Time.”

TCM Sensors and battery replacement
As a parent with a son that recently went away to attend college and learning that he was having car troubles was stressful considering that I knew of no one mechanic in the area. Fortunately, with the assistance of the Mechanic Advisor and the information posted, I took an educated chance on "Mechanic On Duty". There is where I first spoke with Carlos via phone and entrusted in him to help us. Since that moment, I was put at ease by his professionalism and caring attitude to take the proper time to troubleshoot the issue and correct it properly. Carlos personally took it upon himself to drive back my son to UCF so that he would not miss his classes. Furthermore, at all times he remained in direct contact with me to describe his findings and what his recommendations were. Today, I am pleased to share that my son's car issues have been resolved but most importantly of all I have the upmost respect for the way this business owner managed our situation. They provided excellent service in a timely manner for a very fair price which included a 15% discount for UCF students. They have earned my future business as a distant parent and I am sure my son shall be recommending them to all his friends and fraternity brothers as well.
