This is a cowboy outfit that ripped me off. I took my alternator in to be tested and he called me back one hour later and told me they had fixed my alternator. They didn't do a thing. He said he opened it up and fixed a short inside. The tamper screws had never been touched which means he never opened it up. The problem ended up being a wire short against the frame. I asked for a refund but he refused and told me to get a attorney if I had a problem. Don't make the mistake I made go elsewhere.

I was quoted alot more at Jiffy lube for a front brake service. My neighbor referred me to Sheridan Automotive. Not only did they treat me like an old friend, but they also replaced my front brake pads with factory parts at a price less than Jiffy Lube. I am glad that I have found them. I have a 2002 Toyota RAV4. Suddenly one day part of my exhaust system separated from the catalytic converter. I found Anthony on Mechanic Advisor and called for an appt. He said I could bring it right over for an estimate. He did not charge for the estimate. At first he thought it would need a new catalytic converter which he could get for much less than at the dealer but which was still very costly. I decided to leave it over night and rented a car through his connection with Enterprise. In the morning I called Anthony and was told the car was ready and the good news was that I had not needed a catalytic converter after all and the repairs would only cost about 1/3 of the original estimate. I recently came to Hoti Imports Auto Repair shop in dismay over my broken a/c. Upon my arrival I was already filled with disappointment and confusion on to why nobody could diagnose the a/c issue with my car. One shop quoted me over $800 to even take a look at her, another shop told me they couldn't figure out the problem and yet I owed them $300 for the time it took them to figure out that they didn't know what they were doing. There is a saying that the third time is always a charm, well in my case it was! People lack integrity in business and are only focused on making a profit instead of gaining loyal customers. Especially if you are a woman, the easier it seems for men at least, to take advantage of us. My point-in-case is this.. Hoti Imports Auto Repair not only fixed my a/c the same day I brought it in, they also didn't rip me off!! I wasn't charged for the time it took them to figure out the problem, nor was I charged an amount anywhere close to $800. I have gained an enormous amount of respect and trust for this shop, and this will be the ONLY place I take Blair (my cars name) to be worked on.
