My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.

Owners a decent guy(Tom), (mark) was cool too. The issues were the hack insurance company located out of state. They took there time paying for repairs and as a result the shop held my wife's car generally for ransom. I learned legally they can't do that and the payment issue was between the shop and the insurance company. Luckily I had a paid rental car so I wasn't pressed. Still I'm disabled and the stress exasperated my illness. Now , the initial repair also was substandard as the bumper popped out when I pushed on it and the hatch sheet metal collapsed in from damage. These two things were serious problems and I had to leave car for another week to repair correctly. However, the final end result was solid. The paint was spot on and the car looks great. 3 stars is generous.

To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened. To Ashley Butler I'm sorry I wrote the thing's I did about Ice Cold Air and only can say that Ashley Butler of ICE COLD AIR at 410 S.Dale Maybry runs a trust worthly repair shop and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to go there for any type of repair work and I hope this can be posted for bad mouthing your bussiness for not knowing the facts. As a as a former Marine honoring integrity is what us boys stand for! Without being said the two business owners and son are not in this for the money they're in this to help people that's who they are they all have honor and integrity. Pep Boys gave me an estimate to fix the front end in the same manner that one stop gave me an estimate for, Pep Boys estimate 738 dollars one stops estimate 166 dollars. Just to let you know I'm a mechanic and I used to own the shop before I became disabled, I also live in Land O Lakes and I won't bring my car anywhere else and Land O'Lakes is about 30 miles away

I’m a property manager for 22+ years and unfortunately a tenant broke a window during a move out. Based on the good online reviews of Glass Doctor of Tampa, I unfortunately hired this horrible rip off company to repair the window. They charged me half of the repair upfront of $150 prior to looking at the job (I provided a photo as requested). The quote was based on replacing a 30x36 window. The technician failed to show as scheduled that morning with no phone call to advise and then another technician was sent out after 4:30 same day and used a lockbox for entry. The incompetent technician replaced an 8x8 section of glass only and used duct tape and lots of glue to secure the window which I followed up on the job next day. I reached out to management who refused to take responsibility and offered a $20 credit and to go back and clean up. Needless to say, they got paid via their free access to my credit card and refuse to charge me only for the job they actually did poorly and not what they quoted upfront. Lesson learned - I do not recommend anyone retaining this rip off company for garbage work!!! I WILL NEVER USE OF REFER GLASS DOCTOR OF TAMPA.....

I had a very similar experience as Ed listed above. During the estimate process, everything was discussed and would be taken car of. When I picked up the car, there were still some obvious spots that we not touched and others that didn't look good. They took it to the back and brought it up front 15 minutes later. It looked a little better, but still not what was discussed or expected. Upon being questioned about these items, the staff as well as the owner were overly defensive, condescending, and rude. Over promised and under delivered, very unprofessional atmosphere. Would never go back for any reason.

I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side of my car) and so his insurance company (progressive) sent me to Impex. I should have know from my initial experience with this place that it was not going to be a good one but I went ahead anyway because of the reviews, I wanted my car fixed ASAP, and because my adjuster stated this is where he get his car fixed. When I went to pick up my car it looked externally fixed (ok ), however when I drove it just a few feet my tire pressure light went on. I immediately turned around and went back to Impex and they put air in my tires. I thought it was the end of it. For the past month I have had to go 2x per week to put air in my tires. The back rear tire on the drivers side where my car was hit. I called them several times and Julio keep making excesses and not wanting to fix what they did to my car. He keep saying that I must have done it when i drove it the few feet I did -- What?!! I did it really. Full of excuses and little to no solutions-not only that I am unable to make a U turns without my steering wheel locking and my car making this awful squeal. This is the most DISHONEST and UNDER HANDED place I've ever been to. I don't know if the other reviews are paid because my experience was not a 5 star experience, it wasn't even a half star. I WILL NEVER EVER REFER ANYONE HERE

Good day, I stopped at the Brandon Olin Mott location on 8.11.2018 at about 9:05 AM for an oil change and an auto inspection. When approaching the front, I was met by an employee who identified himself as ‘Neil’. The manager. He didn’t greet me with a hello but instead, asked – What do you want? I explained that I was in need of an oil change on our 2016 Ford Focus and could leave the car if need be. He quickly explained that he closed at 12:00 PM. He stated that he was way too busy to do an oil change and suggested several other oil change places near the Brandon Olin Mott store. These included Goodyear, Pep Boys, America’s oil change, Firestone and 5-minute oil. I was astonished that not only did he not want to help us – He rattled off 5 competitors. I even restated that I could leave the car if need be. I asked if Olin Mott had so much business that he could / would turn me away? He became agitated, raised his voice and re-stated – “I said I don’t have time to do an oil change – Do you understand”. He stepped rather close to me and I actually felt threatened by him. I asked him to back-off which he didn’t do, so I backed up and retreated to my car. I can’t understand why Olin Mott would even employ such an on-the-edge individual. Do you have so much business that you send customers to the competitors? Rest assured, and thanks to Neil, I will never go to an Olin Mott store again. I did go to one of your competitors that day, Firestone where I was greeted with a smile and had my oil change / car inspection done in about 30 minutes. Company refuses to honor it's warranty. Their mechanic improperly installed a transmission and they charged to fix his errors. I recently brought in a friend's Nissan Altima to have the transmission replaced and had it charged to my AAMCO Credit Card account. After picking the picking up the auto, the starter made a grinding noise when attempting to start the vehicle. Believing this to be a separate problem I took it to my regular mechanic. He stated that the problem was the screw in the transmission mounting was improperly installed and was causing damage to the starter. We had the car towed to their shop. The manager "Charlie" informed us that since another mechanic looked at the vehicle they would not honor the warranty. This is unacceptable because without having a third party inspect the vehicle how would they be found at fault. It is all around bad business to allow your employees to perform substandard work, and even worse practice not to fix the problem when it does occur.I currently have an open complaint with the better business bureau about the matter.
