Repair dents and scratches
I had a very similar experience as Ed listed above. During the estimate process, everything was discussed and would be taken car of. When I picked up the car, there were still some obvious spots that we not touched and others that didn't look good. They took it to the back and brought it up front 15 minutes later. It looked a little better, but still not what was discussed or expected. Upon being questioned about these items, the staff as well as the owner were overly defensive, condescending, and rude. Over promised and under delivered, very unprofessional atmosphere. Would never go back for any reason.

BODY WORK
Any person complaining about Nu Finish or Larry is either a Liar or attempting to Cheat a honest business. The people who post negative comments about Nu Finish are probably the other body shops that are trying to knock the best Body Shop in Tampa or a customer that is trying to get over on honest hard working people. Nu Finish has been in the same location for over 17 years. They are the most honest and upstanding business there is. They are not only a Pro Shop for 6 of the top Major Insurance Companies but perform work for 3 Dealerships in Brandon. Nu Finish would not have these relationships with the Insurance Companies or be referred by the Dealers if they were not the Best of the Best. It is sad when a person that either no capable of understanding a repair process or has been caught in a Lie can post such unbelievable falsehoods. Please, go by and meet the people at Nu Finish and tour their shop and look at cars being worked on. Nu Finish is by far THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!

WARRANTY
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OF MONEY BY DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THE WORK THAT THEY DO IS INFERIOR AND SO IS THE FAKE WARRANTY THAT HE OFFERS. WHEN ISSUES ARISE AFTER YOUR WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED THEY ARE NOT MAN ENOUGH TO STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. THEY BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR HIS LACK OF EXPERTISE. BUYER BEWARE!

Paint Job
Terrible experience! Took my daughter's 350Z there for an estimate to get her car painted, which by the way only had a few scratches and dings, and the estimate was $2400. After getting 5 different estimates within the past week and reading a few reviews, we decided to go with Nu Finish, especially since they (Mike) said he would paint/touch-up/replace the badly worn panel trimmings in the inside of the car as we were trying to make this car look new again. When we went to drop off the car on a Monday, we asked how much it would cost to have the rims painted too and they said "a specialist" does it for them and would charge $600 for all 4, so we agreed to it. On Friday, we happened to be in the area so we decided to stop in and check on the car. Allison said they JUST finished and took us back to see it....what a surprise; the car looked almost the same way except for the rims, which looked great (done by a SPECIALIST NOT employed with Nu Finish). We started to point several things we noticed wrong so Allison called Mike over who said; "we couldn't get that dent out, we couldn't get those scratches off, we couldn't retouch that trimming panel, etc, etc" to everything we pointed out. My daughter and I were in shock! We were saying WHAT the????....... Isn’t this a Body Paint Shop? Mike started to tap dance and said he would TRY to take care of things and have it ready the next day (Saturday). We got a call on Saturday and said it won't be ready until Monday. On Monday we get another call that the guy that was going to work on it was sick so the car wasn't going to be ready until Tuesday. Now we are thinking they realized they screwed up and were going to try to get it right. We show up on Tuesday after being told the car was ready and the car still was not done right, the front bumper did not match once again and we complained about the other scratches when Mike said you didn't pay to have those scratches removed! My daughter and I looked at each other once
