I have all my work done at Orange Lake Garage. The people are friendly, professional and prompt. All my work has been taken care of as estimated and within the time promised. I have been taking my ehicles to Orange Lake for years and have never had a complaint. If you use them for maintenance such as oil changes they also completelt check your vehicle over and let you know if there is anything you need to have done. Unlike other garages, they do not suggest work you don't need or pressure you to do anything. I trust them completely with my vahicles and have recommended them to my friends and family.

Brought my car in because, firstly I had a small oil leak and because the car kept dying on me. It is an Audi A4 Turbo, 14 years old. Austin did all kinds of test trying also to save me money before changing the Cat, becauwe he initially thought it was the Catalytic Converter. WWell after working at least four hours on the car, changing a few things here and there, which were not fixing the problem, he determined I did in fact need a new Cat. Took five days to get the part..it is an Audi...anyway, my car now runs like a well oiled machine. Austin did many test runs while figuring out the problem with new codes popping up here and there. He offered to gas the car up for me, which I declined. He did not try to take advantage of me being a woman. For the first four hours of work which did not solve the problem, he offered to only charge me for one hour but I told him that we should split the hours. I bought a brand new alternator and brought it to these guys to get it installed. As I was waiting for the service, they kept telling me I can not look as the mechanic is installing the alternator. It sounded weird so I walked outside to see what's going on from a little far away. The mechanic came up to me and said he is feeling nervous when I'm watching. They asked me to sit in the office. I did what they said, feeling very uncomfortable. I knew something was fishy. After a while they brought me my car. The minute I turned on the car it was making a weird noise. I told the mechanic about the problem, and he said he can't do anything about it. I went to another mechanic to see what's wrong and I found out that they put a used alternator in my car and kept the brand new one that I gave them to install. What a dishonest service!!! Now when I call them, they tell me they have to charge me again for labor to install a new alternator. How about the one they stole from me?

They Had our vehicle for over 1 month. Was told every other day it would be done. They said they fixed the transmission problem & then wasn't fixed. A dollar was stolen from our center console, Mcdonald cup in the cup holder. & then when supposedly the transmission was fixed the spark plug blew out of the engine on their test drive. We Were told it was fixed, drove it 2 blocks & was making loud noises, supposedly spark plug shot out again. Picked up again the next day because it was supposed to be fixed & same thing happened. I pulled out the coil pack & they didn't even replace it, instead they cemented it onto the engine block. Spark plug wasn't re-threaded like they said they were going to. There was also glue on the plug as well. When my wife attempted to talk with the owner about their shotty work the owner yelled and cursed at her & told her to get off his property. We were just asking for part of the money back from the spark plug issue they failed to fix.

Do not waste your time and get scammed by this company. A year ago my A/c unit was repaired at this shop. After it stopped working again I called and was told to bring it in so they could take a look at it. They called and let me know what the issue and cost of repair would be . I stated that I did not have another $550 dollars until I got paid to get the repair done until next week. I went to pick up my vehicle and was told that I am being charged $109 dollars for a "diagnostic fee" that with out paying I would not be able to get my car back. At no point with my initial conversation, drop off or being told the diagnostic was I told that there would be a fee. When questioned about this they stated its a new policy that doesn't have to be disclosed. That is unbelievable to me , to my understanding no work or cost can be charged without being approved through the client and at no point was that discussed or even suggested. Do not trust this business.
