He did the oil change in Dec. 2019, overpriced at $220. Then the pandemic started, and the car was in the garage since then. About a week ago, I turned on the car lights are back on the dashboard for maintenance lights and tire sensor. I took it back to him and paid another $220 for the tire sensor and maintenance lights. Seems like $220 is the price they charge for anything small, lol. The car went back into my garage. I turned on the car for the first time yesterday, and the lights are back on. I called and talked to Robi, he said to bring it in the morning it takes 5 minutes. I brought the car in the morning before work, and they wanted to charge me and told me I have to leave the car. I left immediately. Then Robi followed me for a few miles in his Silverado. He threatened me and belittled me, asking if I needed money for the repair. Robi Zaldeti is a crook and strong-arming type of man. Unprofessional, unethical, and if you don't want to do business with him, he'll follow you and threaten you.

I went in for an a solenoid problem and they completely dismantled my transmission, without authorization. The manager, Charles Stevens, tried to bully me into paying between $2100-$2700 to put it back together. I practically had to go to my bank and then one he referred me to to try and get a loan for that amount, even threatened to put my car in storage. Finally got them to put the transmission back together for $512.88, although Charles said he was originally going to charge me $700. Within 5 miles of the shop, my transmission was slipping so severely (I had NO previous issues of slipping) that I had to have my car towed home, per my mechanic's instructions, to avoid burning up the clutch. Now, my car won't even turn over. But legal recourse is in position and I will have my day in court. DO NOT TRUST THEM !!!

FORD OF CLERMONT service dept is run by crooks, liars and theives. I took my 2002 Tbird in for servicing as I needed a new battery and I also wanted to get my engine fan coolant reservoir flushed, drained and new fluid put in as I accidentally poured a few ounces of water in it by mistake. The service dept told me that the bearings in the engine fan were shot and that I need to replace the engine fan assembly as well as the coolant reservoir. Parts were $611 for the fan assembly and $122 for the coolant reservoir. Labor was quoted as $800 and they charged me a $90 diagnostic fee as well. I declined to have the fan assembly and coolant reservoir replaced but did have them install the battery which cost $114.99. I had a coupon from FORD for a battery for $84.99 but Ford of Clermont wouldn't honor it. So I paid $114.99 plus $90 for diagnostic tests. I took my tbird to Griffis Autos in Groveland to have them check it out. They did a full diagnostic test on the engine, fan, etc and also visually inspected the fan motor. They said there was no damage to the bearing, fan, motor, etc. They also drained the coolant reservoir as I requested, replaced fluid......total cost $70. I have driven car several hundred miles with no issues of overheating, etc. FORD OF CLERMONT LIED and tried to get me to purchase a fan assemby and reservoir and spend over $1500 on repairs I didn't need. LIARS and THIEVES. DO NOT take your car there....If you have a Ford or a Lincoln go to Griffis auto in Groveland. Honest, ethical and they have all the diagnostic equipment Ford has. The owner was head mechanic at Ford Of Clermont for over 20 yrs. I am in no way affiliated with Griffis but am so thankful to them for saving me a ton of money for repairs I didn't need. As far as Ford of Clermont goes, I will do my best to tell everyone to avoid them like the plague! Jim L. Clermont

I brought my 2001 VW Beelte into Jones Racing describing the following issue: "The car is shifting heavily, jerking into first and second gear, and the low coolant light comes on despite the fact that there is coolant in the reservoir". All of my interactions have been with the owner. After keeping the car for two days without working on it, he called to say the problem is a broken seal on the transmission with a loss of fluid and two broken CV joints. $350 parts plus labor. We authorize the repair, and two days after this we get another call from him saying: He assumed to the problems were separate (coolant light and shifting). Without checking the cooling system he fixed the transmission seals and CV joints, refilled the transmission with fluid, and test drove the car. The car seemed to drive perfectly. When he checked the cooling system he saw a "Frothy milkshake" of coolant and transmission fluid. Checking the transmission again he saw that this mess was now worked completely into the transmission. He claimed that I should have told him that there was transmission fluid in the coolant (I'm not a mechanic and would have no way of telling one brown liquid from another) and because of -my- over sight the car is essentially dead. It will cost more to fix the car than it is worth. If I wanted to fix it anyway it would cost us -at least- $2500. I took some time to look into the problem. A broken intercooler can cause the transmission fluid to back up into the cooling system. While an irritant, the cooling system can be flushed and brought back to normal. Apparently the opposite almost never happens. Because of the pressure on the transmission side, coolant rarely back tracks into the transmission. While it can, in very usual situations, mix on both sides the serious problem with the transmission was most likely caused by Jerry refilling the transmission and driving the car without first checking the intercooler and the cooling system.
