I called for a appointment to bring my mini cooper in I told the employee that the car was having transmission issues and it would not change gears from 3rd to 4th gear .She said bring it in and a technician would hook it up to a computer to get a reading on it to see what the problem was. So when I picked the car up he did not get a reading from the computer because there was no check engine light on so he took it for a test drive. And said it was having transmission problems and he could replace it with a rebuild one for 7000.00 dollars the computer test was 157.00 that was not performed. So I'm not happy about that. She told me that he would have to put it on the machine to find out what was going on with it not a test drive.

I can’t say enough about Freed Performance. After getting my super charged 993 back from a dealership that was just doing some routine maintenance, it was in running horribly. No power and a strange very high cold start up idle. I took it to Sean and company at Freed and after a number of upgrades (RS cams, RS CLUTCH/flywheel, RS mounts, etc), a lot of extras while the engine was out, and troubleshooting the idle and power issues, the car is now incredible. Idles perfectly cold and warm, smooth/strong consistent power, very easy to drive clutch and feels rock solid. Thanks again guys!! Chris Ozment

Lextech didn't handle the type of repair I needed but Ed was well versed in the nature of my issue and gave me an A+ referral that led me to saving a couple thousand dollars! I had issues with a NAPA starter last November and got it traded out at this location. Well last week my car didn't start, so I towed it to a shop where the mechanic said my starter had gone bad. I take it to this location because the part was still under warranty. Instead of replacing it they toggled the wire around just enough to get it to start, get me off their lot so they wouldn't have to replace it under the warranty. When I asked what was wrong they said a loose battery connection!?! How is there a loose battery connection and I have power going through my car with no issues? How is it a loose battery connection and the other two mechanics missed it, and both said it was the starter?? I literally walked in on them discussing how they weren't going to replace it. I took the car home, and of course the car didn't start the following morning. The lights came on, the windshield wipers work, but of course the car didn't start. These people from the owner, to the manager, and technicians lied and treated me like I was some dumb chick that didn't know what I was talking about. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION...THEY LIE AND CHEAT YOU!!!!!
