Car battery installation service near Dunwoody, GA

I was recommended by a friend of a friend to go to this shop. I came in due to a constant whining sound of the motor. I explained my issue and provided video. I left the car there two days, they put a bunch of over-priced not 100% necessary parts on the car and double charged for oil. No, the whining noise was never from a rubbing bolt on the rotor. I approved the quotes and would just deal with the pricing because I assumed that it would actually fix the problem and give me peace of mind. It did NOT. I still have the same problem. I let them know and they quoted me more labor fees. C'mon, as car people this was ridiculous. Do better.

I have never left a review for anything but I just had the worst customer service experience which included waiting 2 days to be contacted, being accused of stealing, being called a piece of shit and told to fuck off. This was an experience that other people need to know about. My check engine light came on in my 2007 BMW X3 so I brought it into Carma Motorsports since it’s down the street from where I live. I dropped off my car on Sunday night and left the key in the drop box. I called on Monday morning at 8:30 to confirm with them that they received it. I was told by Jennifer that I would receive a phone call after they had looked at it. After never receiving a phone call and trying to call all day, I stopped there at 6 and was told that the phone and internet was down and that was why I never received a phone call. They told me the phones and internet should be fixed in the morning and I would receive a call then, but that they only things that need to be fixed are the ignition coil and air mass meter boot. On Tuesday, I finally received a phone call and received a quote for $1,600 to fix the ignition coil, air mass meter boot, and that I also needed all new front and rear brakes. After waiting over 36 hours to hear anything, this was not good news so I called around to get a few other opinions since that seemed pretty steep. I ended up finding somewhere else that could do all of the same work for almost $500 less. I called Carma and let them know of the lower quote and asked if they could match it. After being told no, I said I was going elsewhere and that I would pick up my car at 6. After arriving, I was told that I still owed $120 for the diagnostic check to find out what was wrong. I informed Adam and another man with a shaved head (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) that I was not going to pay that since it took them so long to get back to me with anything and that what they quoted wasn’t even close to a good price compared to what I was able to find elsewhere, and because no one had told me about the cost of a diagnostic check when I said I was picking up the car. I asked if they had an issue with that and the bald man told me did have an issue because it’s stealing. I responded by saying that I understand that their time is valuable but so is mine. I will never be going back and I’m going to make an effort to make sure other people don’t either.

Well my battery went out so 1st I have to get an special battery for it 2nd I have to recoded the car Dealership doesn't even know what kind of battery do I need so. I worked close to Wendt motors always seen the place but never stopped to check out so I went there Mr Pete very kindly helped me and he told me what are the things that I have to do it need to get done to the car, he recoded the battery so now no lights on??? He also contacted warranty cuz I needed turbos replaced so didn't work cuz supposedly,my warranty doesn't cover all that but still my bimmer runs like new so I ll save up $$$ to replace them at Wendt motors very professional & specialist on bmw so that's my place

I would like to thank David Jacov and his staff for always helping me out! I have found a diamond in the rough for a business being honest, ethical, and always doing a great job. David and Team have always helped me out when I show up first thing in the morning. I have a 2008 GL550 which is in very good shape but seems to need some "TLC" every now and then. I would recommend MB Techs over any other place I have gone for service in the entire Atlanta area. Seriously, the owner is as sincere and kind as it gets while looking to save you cash on parts and etc. And he knows what he's doing cuz after an 800 mile roadtrip the day after fixing my brakes, I'm alive with A/C so crisp and cool..! The car never felt that good even when purchased and maintained at the dealer. I tried this place for the first time and it was probably the best decision.

brought my 92 e30 in it on oct 2018 and they did absolutely no work..quoted me 5000 with 1200 deposit in jan 2019. The quote had things that have already been replaced like ac compressor and and a headgasket that has no miles on it because i changed it my self before i brought it in .. I trimmed the quote down to 1400 and the deposit was 500 i thought that is pretty high...but i paid it..against my better judgement because i could feel the racist mentality when i came into the shop to talk about the repairs to my car in nov 2018 .i believe since they couldn't prey on an uninformed black car owner they chose to let my car sit for 2 months and when i called for an update on feb 13, 2019, they informed me that its best to come get my car and that they haven't done any work

Kudos to Ed for excellent service! Lextech didn't handle the type of repair I needed but Ed was well versed in the nature of my issue and gave me an A+ referral that led me to saving a couple thousand dollars! The last thing I wanted to do was call the dealership and thanks to him I didn't have to. He was super patient, even providing me with the full address and number of the shop. Great repair shop! D'Best Auto care offers fantastic customer service - like one used to get in old times - where everybody knew everyone and you felt right at home. Diego Fuentes, the mechanic, who also happens to be the owner, is very knowledgeable and can work on just about any car, whether the older technology, or the newer computerized cars. Their prices are very good. I'm glad to have found a personal mechanic whom I can trust.

I was very pleased when I was told that the expensive brake repair was not a safety issue. There has been a rattling sound when I brake, but it does not bother me if it is not a safety issue. I appreciated the honesty. -Farris Goodrum
