H & L is a place I feel like I am at home telling them what is wrong and they explaine to me what needs to be done just like I was part of the family so I feel I can trust them an I told them at first , give it to me straight and I will let you know what I think straight I like for people to make me feel part of the family and not just some stranger

My Mini Cooper S had a bad misfire when cold. They found Carbon on my valves. Fixed me up and trouble free since. great job!!

My husband and I (from Virginia) were in Savannah vacationing and happen to stop in to discuss an issue we had been having with my 2013 Avalon. The dealer where we purchased was unsuccessful in fixing. The asst service manager, Shawn was more than accommodating! He knew of the problem and was able to tackle it. While my car was being serviced they had a personal car service that took us to a breakfast location and picked us up when ready..car was not only serviced but washed and sparkling clean when we picked it up. All staff that we encountered were friendly and accommodating!

They don't tell you, but this shop is run by Two Nuts and a Bolt Auto Shop on Echols Dr.The owner is very shady and his employees too. Do not trust them they will rip you off every chance they get.The owner Dave Habermann lacks serious integrity and is crooked. Has crooked as a $3 bill.Please beware of that..Save your money and do your research,before these people empty your wallet..

This place sucks and I cant recommend against it enough (would give zero stars if it was possible). I took my car there for a very specific noise and gave the owner how to recreate it and where it appeared the noise was coming from. He told me it was something that didn't at all sound like the problem I told him, but I trusted his "professional" judgement. Low and behold, after paying for what he told me what was causing the noise, the noise was still there and I was able to recreate it in less that two blocks of driving. I went back and had to convince him to get in the car with me so I could show him the noise I had originally described. He immediately had his mechanics look at it and fixed it in 5 minutes. Here we have the go-to move for terrible mechanics who take advantage of people and fix something completely unrelated to the original reason you took your car in. something that should've been a $30 diagnostic and quick adjustment of something on the brakes turned into an almost $600 bill. ON TOP OF THAT, my car was unlocked when I got into it and my phone charger and phone mount were gone. So not only is the owner a grade A scammer, he and his employees cant even do the most basic acts like lock their customers cars! TLDR: they'll fix the wrong thing and cost you lots of unnecessary money and they aren't even competent enough to lock car doors. Zero out of five stars and I will only look at this place in disgust when I drive by.

Capable staff and very knowledgeable owner. Tom and his team have gone above and beyond with me. Fair price and fair assessment. Very down to Earth and friendly attitude - always provide options for a variety of complex issues you might run into with your vehicle. This is now my new "go to" auto service and tire store. Had always used Bluffton Tire but they closed after the business was sold. Today one of my front tires on my Range Rover picked up a nail and I stopped in here to see if they could repair my tire. Was my first visit here but pleased to see Waldo who used to be a service adviser at Bluffton Tire. Waldo said he could get my car in for repair in one hour so instead of waiting I went to lunch and returned in an hour. He took my car right in and had it back to me in about twenty minutes. The nail was short enough that it did not puncture my tire. They checked and adjusted the pressure in all my tires. He said there would be no charge. I would have been happy to pay for the service received and I still would have been extremely happy. They now have a new customer for life. I will have all of my cars serviced here in the future. They even do maintenance services on Range Rovers! Gerry G.

On vacation in Hilton Head, my passenger car window would not close. Ugh. I found Beachside which is near the airport. The folks there are unbelievably nice and polite. Problem discovered was fixable in about an hour and I was on my way. While waiting, I heard many conversations between customers and staff. All were very positive. One couple from Canada had a serious issue. After diagnostic test, they were told to bring car back tomorrow to leave all day and they would get a loaner car. There was no charge for diagnostic test. Customer was amazed at this. (I was too.) Frances C.
