Import Auto is an independent auto repair shop with an emissions testing center located in Alpharetta, GA. We are on the north side of Atlanta on the Forsyth & Fulton County line, 6735 Atlanta Hwy, near the Midway Animal Hospital and Beverage Depot. Took my car to have evaluated. I was told that my engine was bad and needed to be replaced. He said he would be swapp my engine out with a engine close to the same miles I had on my car. So I agreed to have my engine changed. This would have been a good time to tell me that it's only 30 days on a used engine. but he did not disclose this information to me. He went and got the car emissions done and told me he had been driving my car and it was running fine. Two days later and paying 4081.00 I pick my car up it seemed fine. I wasn't able to test drive the car because of Covid the DMV was closed. so it was close to three months until I was able to get a tag for car. I finally got the tag and drove the car, I noticed a pull from the car when I put the car in drive, it snatched into gear. I took car back and the mechanic RL adjusted something on the engine so that took care of the problelm. Still didn't informe me about 30 days for a used engine. I drove the car for two weeks and the car is surging and smoking from the tail pipe. I call R.L to tell him what's going on. He says bring the car in. I had a video of what was going on with the car. I informed R.L I got advice from another mechanic and was told this is because coolant is getting into the engine which point to a bad head gasket, and the surging could possibly be the air intake control valve and the problem was engine related Which R.L agreed that it probably was the IAC and he would have fixed it "IF" he knew it was bad He then suggested put 20 w 50 in the engine. I called another mechanic and told them what my car was doing and what advice I was giving from RL. And was told to ask for the paper work on the engine. I have not received no information on the engine he installed in my car to this very day. And putting 20 w 50 was not going to solve my issue. So I take the car back because of the surging and mind you it's still smoking. I also was getting water in the trunk so R.L looked into these issued and charged me 80.00.I was told by R.L that my Power steering rack need replacing and he would fix my IAC for aprox 1100.00 dollars. This has been the worst experince with this shop. My car is sitting unable to drive. I gave him ONE star because a rating was required. He deserves 0 stars. We'll end up in court I'm sure.

The oil plug fell out of my car while I was driving, and my engine needed to be rebuilt due to the damage that it sustained. Tim was the worst mechanic that I have ever worked with. He originally told me that it would take about a week and cost me around $2,500, and he ended up having my car for 5-6 weeks and charging me $3,800. I'm not blaming him for the increased cost and extra time, because I understand how those things go. However, when I started questioning some of his extra charges, like $800 for a machine shop that he allegedly had to take parts to, he refused to show me a receipt (which he is legally not obligated to do), and then got very defensive and started bullying me. I never said I wouldn't pay him, but he told me that I had to pay in either cash or a money order because he didn't trust that my check wouldn't bounce, even though I had already paid him over $2,000 in checks that cleared without a problem. He threatened to sue me several times and called me an immature child, all because I wanted to see a receipt for the machine shop. Before we started having our disagreements, Tim kept telling me how he appreciated my trust, and I now believe that he appreciated it so much because he saw it as an opportunity to take advantage of me. He even went so far as to ask me what my credit score was, and then propositioned me to co-sign a business loan with him. I thought that was extremely unprofessional. Personal problems aside, my car ran perfectly before Tim did work on it. Since I got it back, I have had problems with the transmission skipping, as well as with the electrical system. When I informed him of the transmission problem, he was defensive again and claimed that it had nothing to do with the work he did. I would never let Tim work on my car again, and I would advise everyone I know to avoid utilizing his services as well. I am very disappointed with this business and mechanic.

Great repair shop! D'Best Auto care offers fantastic customer service - like one used to get in old times - where everybody knew everyone and you felt right at home. Diego Fuentes, the mechanic, who also happens to be the owner, is very knowledgeable and can work on just about any car, whether the older technology, or the newer computerized cars. Their prices are very good. I'm glad to have found a personal mechanic whom I can trust.

Kudos to Ed for excellent service! Lextech didn't handle the type of repair I needed but Ed was well versed in the nature of my issue and gave me an A+ referral that led me to saving a couple thousand dollars! The last thing I wanted to do was call the dealership and thanks to him I didn't have to. He was super patient, even providing me with the full address and number of the shop. My husband and I had a great experience at Infiniti of South Atlanta. We were in the market for a new car when we found the perfect G37. It was late, and we were all so tired, but Aaron Middleton proved to be the best salesman. He took the time to really sell the car, which I explained was not needed because I had done so much research prior to our visit. The car had been perfectly maintained and is so very clean, it looks and drives like a demo! We started looking at the newer models but this was a chance for us to save some money and really asses the Infiniti experience. We are still in awe with their CPO program!!!! I hope that we continue to see the same professionalism after the sale.
