Tire repair service near Boise, ID

I came from out of state in my car that had just recently had brake repairs done elsewhere closer to home.Along the route,something happened and my brakes were leaking fluid.I go to Point S tires to let them take a look at my car.I walked around for about 30 minutes and came back. Upon returning they have my whole wheel off.They then proceed to tell me that my wheel cylinder and axel is completely busted.They said that the brake fluid is completely leaking out of the wheel there.The fellow then tells me to fix the brakes at all will probably be in the range of 800 dollars to make it to work at all.Now,this car is an old car,while a great running car,not even worth putting that much into.I knew of issues my car previously had,some of which they were telling me made it where they couldn't fix my brakes.I told them that I am not paying that much.At that point the mechanic scoffed at me and said," If this was my car I wouldn't even drive it out of here with getting all this work done."Having no choice,I left anyways and made it all the way back home.Just today,I had the brakes fixed completely by a local honest mechanic.It took him an hour.He told me that the cap on the line was off in a way that seems impossible to happen unless someone does it intentionaly.I don't know if this was done at Bruneel to further increase a simple problem,or if it was just a one in a million shot thing.Eitherway,Bruneel knew that they could have fixed my brakes easily enough,but instead allowed me to drive out of there because I called their bluff.If you do choose to use this business,I would get a second opinion first.~J

It sounds to me like the power steering pump is cavitating under some conditions. Perhaps not enough fluid added after the repair. I haven't driven it much since you fixed it. I will listen carefully for the next week or so to determine if I need to bring it in again. The reason customer service was not a 5 is because I was unable to contact you by phone during business hours to determine if the vehicle was ready.

I stopped by mikes to have them look at why my heater just stopped working in my 04 ford taurus. They were able to figure the problem out quick and give me a decent estimate on repair. When I was able to come in and have the repair done they were very fast and friendly. Their waiting area was clean and very inviting. I highly recommend going into mikes for any car repair. This place is great!!! I have been around automotive shops for 20 years and these guys are amazing. My son was home from college and had new coil overs put on the car. The original shop did not adjust them correctly. Took the (Subaru WRX) to ATS and they adjusted and checked the coil overs. I was in and out in less than 30 min. Great service and the guys are so amazing. I would highly recommend them.

I have been taking my car to this shop for the past year and a half. They have done an excellent job of maintaining it, and have never tried to sell me any unnecessary services. There is a detail shop onsite which is an added convenience when I need my car to look sharp. Great quality service all around! Natalie Deem
