Since their technician did such a good job with my 2005 BMW X3 over the summer, I decided to bring my 2010 Acura TL to change out all fluids, and replace brakes and suspension all around. The total bill was about a third less than what I was quoted from my dealer and 20% less than Firestone and Pep Boys. I brought my 1975 Corvette to Darrel Hadley, owner of Master Tech in June 2010 to perform what should have been simple bumper cover replacement with paint.The job was estimated to take one week, and took 2 months to get it to a point of semi completion. Darrel also wanted additional monies for the work described further in this review. Additionally the car has the Master Tech induced issues listed below. Prior to writing this review, and removing my car from Master Tech I pointed out the issues to Darrel, and asked that they be rectified. He did not correct the issues and told me the work was acceptable to him. The issues are as follows: CORVETTE lettering mis aligned, Two Cracks in Fender, Various runs in paint, and what appears to be burns in paint on rear bumper from over buffing or not enough paint. AT this point the work performed by Master Tech will need to be redone and additional fender repair, and painting is necessary. Please be cautious if considering Master Tech Collision and Restoration.
