I am so very thankful to have found Mr. Meixner and his exceptional crew of expert mechanics! In the last four years I have had to bring my truck into their shop for repairs three different times. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and the speed and efficiency with which the jobs are completed is astounding. The job has always been done correctly the first time. My only regret is that I have waited so long to express my gratitude in writing. If you are looking for honest and dependable work, look no further. My 2006 VW Passat had been losing oil consistently for 2 years now. Many trips to the Dealership and I was told this was normal oil consumption . Not convinced I found Autos of Europe and explained the situation to the Service Manager. He seemed very knowledgeable of my situation and convinced me to bring the vehicle in for a second opinion telling me they run into this all the time. Brought my car in on Monday and had a diagnosis the same day, yes, the same day. I informed them I had an extended warranty and they worked with my warranty company to have the turbocharger replaced and the PCV system repaired, the warranty covered all the repairs. 2 years at the dealer with no result, never again.

These guys rock! Took the time to explain my front end repair. Even took me to the vehicle to show me. I trust them completely. It feels good that I can take my vehicle to a place that's not out to take me.

I had my oil changed the night before a trip to chicago for a funeral. This includes a fluid topoff. About halfway to chicago it started to snow and the roads got sloppy. It was also extremely cold. When a truck went by and threw up road slush I hit my wipers and washers. Nothing came out of the washers! There were some dribbles that froze on the hood instantly, but that was all! I was completely blind and was lucky not to be in a serious accident. We stopped at a gas station as soon as possible to put something else in the washer reservoir only to discover that whatever Dobbs had put in was frozen solid. We had to put 1/2 cup amounts in at a time, which necessitated several stops, turning a 7 hr trip into an 8 1/2 hour trip. When I called Dobbs to complain the manager said he would look into it and call me back. That was four days ago and not a peep from them. They obviously put in a seriously over-diluted version of the washer fluid. I'm sure it saves them money, but if someone ever is in an accident because of their negligence and sues them, it could turn out to be a false savings.

cleaned the throttle body on my 08 silverado but didnt know about the calibration being thrown off after someone manually pushes the flap by hand instead off using gas pedal so after truck ran like crap at 2000+ rpm called about 15 differant shops around town all pointed me to dealer so dealer said they would do the idle relearn for $165 USD??? ok last resot spartan autoworx said sure bring it in they would do it for free so came in no wait hooks up his scan tool within 3 mins the relearn was done truck runs fine so all u chevy truck owners dont push that flap in by hand or shops will tell you that u need $100's of dollars of usless parts and are gonna send u to the dealer in the end but just call up spartan first they are the #1 auto computer guys i love this place

Worst customer service ever. They charged me $70 for a Diagnostic test that had the same information on it as the emissions test that they had just run on my car. They did add an additional part as a necessary replacement although the part wasn't bad. After a friend pointed out that this part wasn't bad, they stated that it was simply a 'suggestion'. I think they should have been more specific although there was no paperwork to be specific on. I got a receipt for my $70. Autozone's free diagnostic tests at least give you some paperwork. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told that I knew nothing about car repair and I was probably lying about how useful the test was. Riiiiiight. The owner really argued vehemently with me about returning my money so I guess he needs it more than I do. By the fact that he works another job and the run-down appearance of this location, I finally stopped trying to get a refund on the most useless and outrageously stupid diagnostic test I've ever had. If you want to be treated with respect and common courtesy, go somewhere else. If you want a company that believes that the customer is always right, don't go here.
