I own Douglas Automotive Repair Inc and am sorry you experienced some quality issues with our shop. I am a certified technician and have been for 35 years. We always use high quality parts in our repairs; through the years we’ve been in business we’ve found that it just doesn’t pay to use lower quality parts unless it’s a customer request to keep costs down. We did have a period where we were having employee quality issues, but have since resolved those. It’s very unfortunate that it impacted some of our customers as we worked through it. My poor car hasn't had a detail since 2007 and I've pretty much lived in my car since my fiancé passed in April of last year, so it was in dire need! I bought a groupon for an auto detail and I wasn't expecting much after my friends got theirs done somewhere else. I took it to QAR and KC took care of me. He looked at my cars condition and told me how the groupon only covered 3 hours of work and my car needed at least a day! I explained my situation and asked him to do the best he could with what I had. Like I said, I wasn't expecting much, I was just happy it would be cleaner. They took the car warning me that, they'll only have time for the inside, but KC came in and told me that they would buff and wax it as well since winter was coming. He was really a great business man and even batter man. He made sure I was happy with everything, even offered me coffee and checked up on me occasionally. When I got to my car, I was surprised with how it looked! You could tell they're perfectionists, cause they got every little nook and cranny and every stain I figured would still be there were gone! My car looks and smells amazing, like new! I'm impressed, that was a hard job, but they took the time they needed and pulled it off. I would recommend them for everything cause he showed me that he had pride in his work and services and that means a lot to me and my car. Y. Flores

I brought my car in for a diagnostic and they gave me over a quote for over $3,000 in repairs. I took it down the street for a 2nd opinion and half the things they said were wrong was a lie. Had my car repaired where I got thr and opinion for less than 1k. It's been 6 months and not a single problem. A dealership and repair shop run by conmen. Color me surprised (NOT)
