I took my ML 350 due to a problem with the Engine. The drive chain had broken. The dealer's recommendation was to repair and cost was something of buying another car! So, I took to Dupage Auto Werks. The recommendation is to replace the 118K miles engine with a much lower engine. They shopped and found a fimilar engine and practically did a 'Engine Transplantation'! Now that I have an engine not only has a lower mileage, but also was cheaper overall. Very satisfied with them to have suggested and able to get my car worth somehting that I can keep it a much longer time!

This is a very convenient location for me,and my family has used Frank's for years. The service is great and the prices are always on point. I really like being able to drop off my car, then walk across the street and catch the metra into work.

My poor car hasn't had a detail since 2007 and I've pretty much lived in my car since my fiancé passed in April of last year, so it was in dire need! I bought a groupon for an auto detail and I wasn't expecting much after my friends got theirs done somewhere else. I took it to QAR and KC took care of me. He looked at my cars condition and told me how the groupon only covered 3 hours of work and my car needed at least a day! I explained my situation and asked him to do the best he could with what I had. Like I said, I wasn't expecting much, I was just happy it would be cleaner. They took the car warning me that, they'll only have time for the inside, but KC came in and told me that they would buff and wax it as well since winter was coming. He was really a great business man and even batter man. He made sure I was happy with everything, even offered me coffee and checked up on me occasionally. When I got to my car, I was surprised with how it looked! You could tell they're perfectionists, cause they got every little nook and cranny and every stain I figured would still be there were gone! My car looks and smells amazing, like new! I'm impressed, that was a hard job, but they took the time they needed and pulled it off. I was stranded 50 miles from home and got my car towed here, I was a little nervous not knowing anything about the shop or the area. John was very nice and assured me that they would find out what was wrong, I wondered at what cost..The car was looked at and the cost was very reasonable, being a woman I was concerned they were going to try and overcharge me because I had no other option but to go there. Even though I live so far away I would definitely bring my car here again for service, a nice honest mechanic/repair shop is hard to find but this place rocked!

Fast friendly people there, they really take the time to explain how and why things happen to your car. I hate when I am forced to have work done on my car, but at least when I take it to Mark and his team, I know it gets done right and as soon as possible. They even offer you a free loaner car if the job is bigger or will take longer than expected. I have only needed it once so far, so I think they narrow down the problem pretty fast and get you back on the road. Their prices are very fair. A few times in the past I have wasted my time getting estimates at other places, just to end up back at GTM! Oh well, live and learn!

I brought my car in for a diagnostic and they gave me over a quote for over $3,000 in repairs. I took it down the street for a 2nd opinion and half the things they said were wrong was a lie. Had my car repaired where I got thr and opinion for less than 1k. It's been 6 months and not a single problem. A dealership and repair shop run by conmen. Color me surprised (NOT)
