The staff at Awesome are a very friendly, fair and honest group. Sitting on the fence of keeping or getting rid of my 90s Toyota that I enjoy driving to this day, I decided to get a quote from them based on recommendations about their very competitive pricing, customer service, and my preference to support small business. The car had a massive oil leak, so I knew it would be costly. They took great care in finding all of the potential leaks and changed the timing belt for an excellent price that wasn't as bad as I had thought. I brought my 1975 Corvette to Darrel Hadley, owner of Master Tech in June 2010 to perform what should have been simple bumper cover replacement with paint.The job was estimated to take one week, and took 2 months to get it to a point of semi completion. Darrel also wanted additional monies for the work described further in this review. Additionally the car has the Master Tech induced issues listed below. Prior to writing this review, and removing my car from Master Tech I pointed out the issues to Darrel, and asked that they be rectified. He did not correct the issues and told me the work was acceptable to him. The issues are as follows: CORVETTE lettering mis aligned, Two Cracks in Fender, Various runs in paint, and what appears to be burns in paint on rear bumper from over buffing or not enough paint. AT this point the work performed by Master Tech will need to be redone and additional fender repair, and painting is necessary. Please be cautious if considering Master Tech Collision and Restoration.
