Owner Drew Burmeister is an A S E-Certified Master Technician with over 15 years of industry experience. After working at a large dealership for several years, Drew sought a better outlet for his services that would allow him to work directly with his customers. This desire and inspiration turned into The Pit Shop, which opened in 2010. His mission at The Pit Shop is to provide exceptional dealership quality services and warranties without the high prices. Specialities
Drew worked as a used car technician while going to school, which led to an internship at a local Acura dealer in December of 2004, where he became an Acura-Certified Master Technician in a year. He used the next few years to fine-tune his craft and left the dealership in 2009 to pursue his own ambitions. In 2010, Drew opened The Pit Shop in Libertyville.
Drew attributes his hard-working, never-say-die attitude to his luck at being handy with machines and desire to be a good provider for his wife and two children.

PitShop is the best. They assess the work and come up with options for you to choose what's best for your situation. Instead of new brakes tis time, they were able to resurface the front and back rotors. Feel much better that the car is stopping well. They keep you apprised of the time and costs related to their findings. Trusting a car repair shop is huge but Pit Shop does an amazing job....

Drew fixed my accord! I had been two other shops, and had two wheel bearings replaced. The car was thumping intermittently while I was driving. It would also vibrate badly when the noise happened. No one could find the problem. Drew found the drivers side, back caliper frozen. He said this caused the brake disk to get hot and warp. That is what caused the thumping. He replaced the caliper while I waited, and the noise is finally gone. I will take both my Honda and my wife's Mdx to the pit shop from now on.
