I went in for an oil change and once I got home I noticed my tire pressure was still low and none of the fluids were replenished. This didn’t particularly upset me, mistakes happen I completely understand. What upset me was that when I called back, I told Mike my situation and he responded “well how do you know they didn’t fill the air and fluid?” in a very sarcastic and demeaning manner. Obviously, if the tire pressure light is on and there is no windshield wiper fluid right after the service, they didn’t do it. As a younger woman who is unfamiliar with the ins and outs of cars, this left a bad taste in my mouth because I’m sure an older male familiar with vehicle maintenance wouldn’t have been treated like this. In addition, they automatically assumed I wanted to most expensive oil change. I never authorized this nor do I usually get the most expensive one. I used to be a repeat customer but at this point I’ve lost all trust in this business. Although, I will say that James is always very helpful with any and all questions I may have.

Needed a transfer case replaced. They were the only shop that would attempt to see if they could fix / replace due to the car being a 2002. The work took several weeks to complete. Took the car home and found some issues that were overlooked. Took the car back and they fixed the main issue no charge . Had an additional matter that was not initially covered but I worked with the owner Stephen and he made things right. The vehicle is now fixed and working properly.

I don't know why I chose Schaumburg Automedics to service my car when I first moved to Chicago 20+ years ago, but I am really glad I did. They have kept my various old cars running much longer than I would have expected. I was thinking about junking my car after this last service, but the SA Team did such a fantastic job the car drives better than when it was new (to me). I had several idiot lights on my dash and thought I had no ABS of VSA because the lights were on. The guys working on something else noticed some frayed wires along the firewall from some rodent or something. Now ALL the dashboard lights are off. They also fixed some extra things I didn't ask for and didn't notice till I got home. AAA Stands for quality service. AAA never hung a sign on a shop as good as Schaumburg Automedics. I just wanted to thanks these guys as a whole. I brought my SAAB in for an oil service. I spoke to the tall service manager. He was helpful and explained I had 3 open recalls on my SAAB then one is related to my seat belts. This is why I always like going back to the dealership to have my SAAB repairs completed. I failed the Illinois Emission Test. I took my Bentley to a performance shop to be repaired. They quoted me $3,927.00 to replace the catalytic converter. I call Bentley Gold Coast and spoke to the service manager and explained my situation. He said no problem that component is covered by a 8 year / 80,000 mile warranty. He sent a flat bed and picked up my Bentley and installed the catalytic converter - all done at no charge. I had my Bentley back in 2 days. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for the professional and prompt service.

Hollywood has reasonable prices, plus the staff is super helpful. Joe and his guys do a great job of serving cars. Plus, they have a full auto parts store attached to the garage, so you know they're going to have a part when you need it. Not only is the staff super helpful but they are also quick and pay attention to detail. A winning combo. You can't go wrong with Hollywood Auto!

I have known the professionals at European Auto House for years (2004) after being referred to them through another trusted individual. I have found them to be the most straight forward and reliable mechanics that I have ever dealt with for any make of auto repair (foreign or domestic).

I went to a few mechanics that claimed that my car had a lot of stuff that needed fixing. I went to Araiza and he told me it was only one sensor that needed to be replaced to pass the emissions. Great man. I recommend. Thanks to him, he saved me a lot of money and time. I haven’t had an issue with my car since.

Great mechanics showed me all my before and after stuff, showed me my new parts and showed me pictures of when the intake was removed, very very clean mechanics as far as work ethics . Would not go anywhere else. Thanks you guys for being a blessing to me

I had purchased a groupon ($149) for front and rear brakes 3 weeks ago. He texts me saying that I would also need to replace the rotors. I was a little hesitant and should have listened to my gut but I went ahead go the rotors replaced for $265. Then he sends me pictures saying that I need to replace my ball joints. I said another time. Fast forward to one week later and I am hearing a squeaking noise. He says give it some time to adjust and that most likely it is my parking brakes. I called another mechanic and inquired about this and he informs me that the parking brake could and should have been done with the original brake/rotor replacement and it would have been cheaper as Landspeed wants to charge me $180. I gave it two weeks and the noise progressed. When I brought it in he took it for a test drive and tells me that he is going to replace the rotors and brakes again as well as the job on the parking brakes. I ask why and he tells me because of needing the parking brake. Well, two days later I hear another squeaking noise and grinding noise. I thought it was because of the ball joints he stated I needed to replace. So, I again contacted the other mechanic and brought it in. He takes a look at my car and takes it for test drive and lets me know that the balljoints are perfect, NO NEED TO REPLACE THEM. Then this is the worst part, he tells me that the brake job that Landspeed did was done extremely poorly as well as the brakes and rotors were warped. I gasped considering that I just replaced them three weeks ago. I took pictures and everything and now have to replace the rotors and brakes in the front. I am so upset because as much as I would want to go back and make him do the job over again, that is not going to happen.
