I took my ML 350 due to a problem with the Engine. The drive chain had broken. The dealer's recommendation was to repair and cost was something of buying another car! So, I took to Dupage Auto Werks. The recommendation is to replace the 118K miles engine with a much lower engine. They shopped and found a fimilar engine and practically did a 'Engine Transplantation'! Now that I have an engine not only has a lower mileage, but also was cheaper overall. Very satisfied with them to have suggested and able to get my car worth somehting that I can keep it a much longer time!

This is a very convenient location for me,and my family has used Frank's for years. The service is great and the prices are always on point. I really like being able to drop off my car, then walk across the street and catch the metra into work.

Awful place. I brought my car there because the front driver's side wheel was making a scraping sound. The owner Bill went on a ride with me so he could hear the sound, which he did and had an idea of what it could be. I brought the car back during my scheduled time, which after waiting for about 4 hours after I dropped it off that they can't figure out what is wrong with it, saying there seems to be nothing wrong with the "rear: tires. They spent 4 hours looking at the wrong end of the car. I told them and the owner knew that it was the front driver side. After 3 more hours after the phone call I go there to see what is going on to find my car outside, not even being looked at. And no phone call giving me any more information on it. The girl at the front desk said it "must be my brakes" and I should get a certain kind to fix the issues. The brakes are BRAND NEW CERAMIC BRAKES, not cheap metallic ones. It's not the brakes. Then she said it must be the rotors because they had some wear on them. Please you have no idea what it is and the owner decided to go home a few hours after they opened. Poor Communication. Lastly, I took my car home to find grease all over the driver side interior door and a large scratch right in the doorway (freshly scratched). The grease has been a pain to get off and the scratch is down to the metal. I have photos to post as well. POOR SERVICE.

I highly recommend Steve and crew for repairing your Audi (and other makes). After a long search for repairing my car, Steve was very helpful over the phone without even seeing the car. He gave me an honest opinion and range or repair cost - again, without seeing the car. I brought it in and he repaired it and a couple other things he found that were related. When I came to pick the car up, he noticed another issue when pulling it up for me. He brought it right back in the garage and let me borrow his car while they made this additional repair. I was not charged for this, as Steve took responsibility for it. Honesty and fair pricing is difficult to find, especially with cars that are expensive to fix, and I'm thrilled I've landed at a place I can trust and use moving forward. Debbie is so sweet, she made me very comfortable and I left the business knowing that I will return here with confidence. My service was fast and at a great price! Picked up a coupon from Groupon that included free oil changes. I went in expecting to be met with a cold shoulder and a hurry-up-and-get-this-guy-out-of-here feeling. I was wrong. I came in and was greeted right away by the owner himself. While I was waiting on my car to receive an oil change the owner sat with my girlfriend and I for a good 15 minutes talking to us and making sure everything was going well while explaining his business and passion for good service. The oil change was done in a timely manner and everything went smoothly. There was not even a hint of upselling and I never felt uncomfortable while there. I live in Schaumburg and this is a little bit of a drive just for an oil change but now that I have been there once I don't think I will go anywhere else for future service of my vehicle. The entire management and floor team there were very professional and friendly. It is also located in an easily accessible location and well-kept neighborhood. I am going back this Saturday for another oil change and I look forward to speaking with the owner again to let him know what I think of his business. As a new resident to Illinois I am happy to know I have found a trustworthy auto business.
